Added to the OP:
"NOTE: This tournament will have it's AI pack released as "GTM AI" that we can build upon with teams from other members, as sort of the official AI pack for the community."

Guess I should add that to the OP in my tournament topic instead of having it hidden away in the topics pages. Most tournaments release AI packs at their conclusion these days because it's a nice way to keep things fresh.

I really want this tournament to start. Your "word" is enough for me for now. Expect a PM with a link and details soon. I think, that the order in the AI pack, must follow the real sending order, not the one You specified in the first post.
I'm sure a lot of other people want to see this get started too, they are probably just working on their team. Indeed the order will be based on when I receive them as I will be AI'ing them as I get them in.

I don't think he minds people using it in showcases but he doesn't think it should be legal (by standard) in tournaments/contests.

You have my word, none of that is a problem.

I haven't done to well in AW tournaments and had a 50/50 chance of winning the 2 AW design contests :) I do like AW's and build LOTS of them but I don't think I'm that good at building combat effective ones as I strive for being creative with them which is why you won't see many stacked rammers from me in my showcase.
A few examples of people who could easily top me in AW's:
*NFX: made XOR, a really great AW which is both unique and combat effective. *Pwnator: made Dipper, a unique and combat effective AW. *ClickBeetle: Made Soul Weevil, a destructive drill and a motorised hammer AW which is yet to be AI'd properly but should be deadly and very unique.
That being said, I think it's obvious this BOTM is a little out of my comfort zone :)

Don't worry, I'm not going to be breaking any hosting rules.
Results of the poll say I should get at least 16 teams (which is what I'm aiming for so I can make the AI pack). So I don't think there will be a problem, as soon as I start getting entries things should pick up as more people will see who is entering and how many people are entering. Got to start somewhere :) perhaps I should list names of people who are entering then change text colour when I receive their team.

...Still can't enter...
but do You all realize, that I'm famous for my UHWs, and trying to beat me will be like trying to beat Ianh in a AW contest... If You get my point
I'm easily beatable, just need more entries :P

This time there's no limit on type for this bot! however your bot must be themed to suit the team.
Rules:
*Upload a splash using the GTM image host and PM me the link. *Stock parts only! *AI parts are allowed, Excluding the 140cm square extender. *cheatbot2 is not allowed. *Custom parts ARE NOT allowed. *Realistic rule DOES NOT APPLY. *Normal building with normal glitches allowed (no AAM, BFE, Uberstack or hax mode). *Show the weight in your splash. *You MUST include a shot of the insides. *You should name your entry something that suits the team it belongs to. *Entries must be reasonable splash size (nothing too big). *One entry per member. *Entries must be in before the 24th of this month (24/03/2013) AEST.
The winner will be decided by a vote just like BOTM and the winner is to send me the bot so it can be added to the pack.
======================= 4 Entries so far.
Countdown:

I think people who discover glitches actually set out to try and find them, people like Click are more concerned with building bots etc. anyway hoping this tournament's signups start to pick up speed.

My team is ready at 100%. I just wait for some other people to send their teams (besides me and Ianh) and then I will send mine.
Why is that? Do you not want to appear second on the GTM AI Pack or are you worried that I'll being updating the splash because of my protesting against showing entries? I would love to get teams spread out over a long period instead of all at once so I have enough time to AI each team without to much work being put on my all at once and I don't want to rush this as people are entering 5 bots each so more time will be needed. So if your team is ready please submit it so I can start working on the teams splash and AI.

I don't see any problem with the überstack glitch, if it's just stacking something inside a z-tek by removing the axle.
Not to spam this topic or anything but my opinion is that it's a big space saver, people can't tell the difference between it and AAM, and it's not directly exploiting the glitch by using the axle to place object on it but using it to stack things over the motor the axle is a part of which seems to be a fair bit more like cheating. Whether it is a big enough advantage to be considered illegal or not is yet to be seen.

Thanks :) Here's your new AW for Re-stocked's PREHISTORIC: and here are the AI vs AI results for Oil Drill 2 which I can now post without giving away that AW - Stone Tablet was mine and having someone vote for/against me because I used the mini screenshots in the results screenshot where the other bot has their preview pic:

Venko's vote will be the tie breaker.
#1 wins and will join PREHISTORIC, the next contest will be The Good Ol' Boys.
Entrants:
#1: AW - Stone Tablet = ianh05 #2: Bear Hug = Lightning S.

Domination, possibly the biggest WBP in a stock AW match ever? Got the extender mostly behind the plow :) Now it's time to AI this beast and see how it does.

Not much stacking needed, only 2x pinks and control board + baseplate anchor really and those are the 2 easiest stacks for me :)

I actually drew up a prototype for SHW on the Red Zone because I thought you were looking for them before.
Still undecided on SHW/CW, I know people probably have some SHW versions already but I'd love to start seeing some CW bots in AI packs as we currently have none and a new weight class to play with could breath some more life into stock.

People seem more focused on DSL and IRL stuff, hopefully Inf or Sage can come up with something for one of these (perhaps cruiserweights will be better for some people to build) seeing as they were the main people involved in Re-stocked IIRC.
