I know, stealing from IRW, but the idea popped into my head sometime ago. If we were able to pull it off, what would you guys approve of as a meeting place/time/weather?

I think Robot Wars decisions are more controversial (and butthurt, for that matter) because they can be done intentionally simply to create drama.

What about Nightmare vs Battlerat?

As controversial as that was, the Battlerat guys were total - about it.

Oh, I know. There's been a lot of drivers on Battlebots who can't take losing. Take Mouser's driver, he flipped the - out because
the pulverizer hit Mouser just once after the buzzer. Maybe the producer told them to do it to add drama, if otherwise they need to
grow some -.

And yet Whirligig's driver can take it after about 15 hits from the pulverizer after he tapped out.

I display: WiggleWheels!

An antweight gone horribly wrong, I decided to use the game's physics to my advantage. the 60kg "wheels" wiggle all over the place, making it nearly impossible to drive, but they also act as a nice 60k point defense! Here it is winning its second battle of the tournament.

It weighs 376 lbs, much more than an antweight :P

(Image removed from quote.)
hey, where's the bot? i can't see it.(and make your own showcase so that we can make your bot better)

It's the box with the 4 sledgehammers on it. And most likely this is a bot that is just for fun and not a "showcase bot".

Because I had the Firestorm flippers to give it frontal weight and the hammers were either not fast enough or not heavy enough to bring the bot into a spin.

I don't think Nineteen Eighty-Four deserves as much credit as it's gotten.
In my opinion Brave New World's a lot scarier and a lot more powerful.

I did like the book 1984 better than the movie.
Haven't seen Brave New World, should look for that.

I disagree with all bad Saw reviews.
Watch all 7 films, consecutively, fairly closely together (even just one a week) so you don't forget the intricacies of the plot, and it's a very good storyline in my opinion. You overlook so much when watching them so far apart, and the bad reviews for the later ones are because the reviewer probably doesn't remember the entire backstory. I love them. And I laugh at them. That doesn't make me a bad person, right?

I don't think so, and I especially hate when people call it "torture porn". No, HOSTEL was torture. Even if you don't agree with Jigsaw's methods, the movies weren't made just to see people get killed. They have a very precise storyline, and even with some mistakes, it holds together pretty well. And those ending sequences, man.

BUT YOU SHOULD POST A REVIEW BECAUSE I DON'T BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE SAID ANYTHING BAD ABOUT IT

I'm just giving you advice, dude!

Sheesh.

I see what you're saying (btw you're overreacting more than i am), but I still posted something that comes up with interesting discussions instead of getting the "LURK MOAR" and going through 10 pages of Movies and Music to find the thread and then getting slammed with "stop reviving old threads" where something we could have actually talked about is disregarded.

Maybe you should read thread titles and first post descriptions before posting random lists, K?

Sorry. How long do you think my jail sentence should be?

Anyone can just say 'I like this, but everyone else hates it!'

..and anyone can go and find a review for it.

I mentioned a lot of movies, I'm not going to go find every single one, but I'll pick out a couple:

Delta Farce

Jumper

- Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey
Epic movie!

Also, this is about the reviews, dude.

And a lot of the movies I posted have (IMO) unfair ratings (good or bad, depending on which category I put them in)
