A deadline extension has now been placed on signing up for this tournament. Which I had already secretly planned anyway.
Signups officially end on:
6th of November, 2016 at 00:00am (BST)
You are my hero. Hail this man.

Big Hammer is actually called Big Time Hammer in the splash. That may be your issue. I'll leave the rest to others.

I get thrown this error everytime I try to enter RA2WIKI. I simply click RA2WIKI and the page I get sent is this one. Any chance I could get help with this, oh mighty Trovaner?

How did you do this exactly?

Maybe get a rudimentary wheel guard? Seems like those wheels might be a bit exposed.

That was surprisingly close

Th flipper isn't still unrealistic. You are not allowed to have intersecting parts on your bot for any reason unless you could feasibly work around it by cutting slots in parts, but this is not possible with motors or batteries. Use some flipper segments to build a flipper arm that goes over the wep motor. The VS looks odd. Try and just ram the extender through that skirt wedge and into the chassis (but not into any motors ) at a 45 degree angle, that should make it look realistic enough.

I have a large amount of homework to be doing, and have had this constantly happening the entire last few weeks preventing me from creating bots, but apparently you 3 cannot seem to understand this, presumably because you all have your craniums lodged firmly up your individual backsides. Just saying. However, I do concede that Rob will be ona tight schedule, so we shall move on with our lives and forget the notion of a deadline increase, unless anyone chooses to further continue this argument which should have been over and done with after the first 2 replies, especially because the actual request was a polite and simple one that somebody managed to take as a grievous insult for inexplicable reasons.

Considering I have directly told you what I have got to do myself, you don't get to pick some random statistics about what time I have. Also, I have been creating new bots for this tournament and this was the perfect opportunity to get them used. Now, if you are done spouting bullsh** about everything I have planned, I'll get my homework done, then put the finishing touches upon my bots, send them in, and hopefully I will get the opportunity to silence you.

Cool entry: Blackjack Best entry: Spinneroo, Mate. BTSHDBBDDTBL: Arachnid. Got unlucky against green arrow, thought it would go to the semis. SFTW: Great Suisse. Good debut from wrhysj, Luckiest entry: Hypershocked. It got 2nd purely because it was bad. Best moment: That flip by green arrow on arachnid.

Go with the Mechavore disc, it looks the best.

It's not like I'm in Year 11 and having to crank out homework and coursework left, right and centre.

Take out the ballasts and put more weapons in it, see if you can move the ddt for the popup where the ballasts are right now.

The flipper: The skirt hinges on the BSG's ram right through the NPC motors. Completely unrealistic. Also, you should use skirt hinges instead of extender anchors and angled extenders to hold your skirts, as that will give you a better wedge.
The HS: Too little weaponry on the sides of the disk, and Jugglers are more DSL-S, not IRL. I'd say remove the shell panels, and get some heavier, more powerful weaponry on there. TBH, a HS is not advisable with only a TWMR2, so get a lighter weapon system than the disc and stick a DSL bar and 2 hammers/axes on it to see if you can make it more powerful. (Don't take that as absolute fact though, still not sure on the meta other than mechavore disc = OP)
The VS: Your axle support looks way too easy to snap. Use a couple of extenders and some angled 45 degree extenders to make a bar between the base of the tit extender, and theend of the long alu extender. This should make the set up more believable. Also, use some flippermakers to make a sort of cage/protective ring around the perm, as it looks very unsupported. Also, the mechavore disc is way too big and looks kinda ugly. It also is undoubtably OP, so your use of it is not really in the spirit of IRL. Try to use a different disc.

If at anypoint you alt-tab out of RA2, just exit the bot lab, close the game and restart. It will save you frustration of not being able to place anything.

Rob, I have a few entries I can send, but my laptop isn't connecting to the Internet. Can you extend the deadline by a few days so the rest of us can rush some entries in? EDIT: Laptop back up and running, but I have homework I really should be doing, and others may also have IRL stuff to do, so any chance you could give us a couple day's extension? If you do, you are legend.

Any chance you could put those on the rbot exchange? I wish to play with them all, marvel at them, and learn how to do a extender-frame bot setup like you have here.

Would try to get the wedges lower so they actually work as wedges
lol what are you even talking about ? those are not wedges. the Nightmare style design isn't even supposed to have wedges.
they're wheel armor.
Yes, but they could easily be turned into wedges, being even lower to the ground and helping to protect the wheels against spinners and undercutters.
No. I highly doubt they would be capable of getting under anything. Nightmare-esque bots are designed to punt a bot if it is tall enough to have a part hit the disc. There is no need – or efficient way – to wedge bots with a Nightmare clone.

Why are we changing the rules on this guy!?
There is no huge negatives to me AIing over Havok. The only difference is who's on the keyboard. I just send him the bots after AIing them. I could just as easily watch over his shoulder and tell him how to AI a certain robot.
Because any good tournament host should be capable of AIing. Hell, even I was capable of it. No excuses. Also, if you two are friends IRL and you can show him how to ai, please show him (in person or online, idc) so he can learn it for himself. Having everything done for you sets a bad precedent in tournament hosts and a reliance on people that can hinder a tournament getting off the ground.
