Wait until you can get a bottle of hoppes solvent to remove the buildup in the bolt AND barrel. (inside that is)
Wipe all metal parts with light oil and a paper towel....lightly!
Oh, that's why. I'll need to clean the barrel.

Will cleaning it with olive oil ruin it? My friend who is a gunsmith said to use WD-40, but we don't have any.
Nevermind, I just remembered we own a gun cleaning kit.
