I would go for an aluminum or carbonfiber (expensive) chassis. Just buy sheets of the stuff and cut it with a saw (I use a wet saw).

One issue I see is that this bot is just like any other bot. The combatants will likely attack the house robot just as often as it attacks the actual opponent. You need to find a way for the entrants to ignore the housebot.

I wouldn't. You will have better success with your first rammer IMO, simply because you don't have to sacrifice weaponry for the extra extender work for your back weaponry.

Perhaps builder was the wrong word. I more meant it as a general term that describes you people on these forums. I guess supreme forum members would be more appropriated.
