Lexan can crack when bolts or screws are used in it, Lexan must be allowed to flex, or it wont hold up to the rigors. The proper way to do this is to chemicly bond it together, with a proper resin.

Looks more like the custom series version than the real thing.

For reference, Blendo looks like this:

(Image removed from quote.) Fear is one of my most effective replicas I made.
That looks nothing like Phere.

General Support / Re: Making a realistic Flipper-Shell Spinner help.

You're missing the point. R.O.T.A.S. had a gas engine for its spinner and its flipper was powered by standard pneumatics.

Nice for assault, bad for Hit and Run.

It went over the top.

It has very high walls, but a good flip can send a bot over them.
There's a crowd on the other side.

...But the Axtinguisher often causes instant death, while the Volcano Fragment just ignites.

Discussion / Re: New Glitch - Hax Mode
« on: July 08, 2011, 05:27:06 PM »
I'm going to brake the discussion here because this has REALLY gotten out of hand. I'm going out on a limb to say that this thread had bad idea written all over it from the start. This thread has been nothing but arguments that get nowhere, ridiculous reasoning, and some sane comments from guys who know what their talking about.  I could sum up this entire thread with a quote from ATFW:

"Should we do something?"

"Should we do something?"

"We should do something!"

"Should we do something?"

"Should we do something?"

"We should do something!"

"Should we do something?"

"Should we do something?"

"We should do something!"

And continue to infinity and beyond.

The "Wobulator" sounds like basic physics of the shell keeping it stable. All shell spinners and cage spinners exert this force.

How is Typhoon 2 advanced? It's a shell spinner, its no more advanced than any other shell spinner.
