The purpose of the pont system is you don't have to reject anyone; someone can enter woth a box of they want to , but it may not win the tournament even if it wins all its battles.

Perhaps what you need is a scoring system like Craaigs Rw 2005 tournament.  Something to consider for Vg Showdown 2.

I really like Super Mario Galaxy, Oregon Trail, ROB the robot.  I didn't expect such a pointy robot to be based on Tetris.

You did really good to get this many entrants - 18 plus half of them were so inspired that they made a second one.  Not bad considering there was a time you doubted you'd get 16 at all.

Love the Saint and Cherub.  Do they work like the real ones?

I have no idea why battlebots/robot wars has not come back on air.

It would be cool if combots was a tv show.

I would probably end up spending my life savings on parts for a thwackbot.
Probably the startup costs.  The executive producer for Robot Wars had to take on about 100,000 pounds of debt just to get Series 1 started.

You should stretch the bmp by 400% when you start so that eveything doesn't look so pixelly.

A friend of mine gave those out at his brithday party in 2002.  I really should've asked where he got them from because I never saw them in the local toy stores.  I got Frenzy and Hammerhead.

Is bi-shoujo a specific game or just a generic term for any girl dating sim?

Are you running Windows 8.1?  If so, then by default, you can't edit anything on the C drive, and I think your problem will go away once you grant yourself permission.  Are you the "Administator" on you computer?  If you're the only user, then by default you are, if not, you'll need to get help from whoever has admin priveleges.

Forgive me for not writing it myself, but I believe that this guide will fix your problem

Cheers lads!

Mystic2000, Wham started it off and the first replicas that were released in his BETA are well... his! but the majority of the robots that will be in the pack now are all my doing, I've made almost 50 now so you can expect the Mod to be very large!

Yes, there will be new components such as axe heads, flippers, wedges, scoops, batteries, and armour.

Here is something I've knocked up very quickly, Kronic.

The skin isn't as high def as the others I've made so it could be replaced at some point.

I like how you do all the scratches and scuffs - me, I draw them in their idealized form.

I can't figure out how the knockout tournament works.  The hexagon robot finished last in Stock Car but didn't get eliminated. Also, REX2 is painted red later in the episode for some reason.

skbt's dream car would be a wedge shaped goat. or a goat shaped wedge.

However the hell this could exist, I do not know.

You have to remember, they're paying completely out of pocket for the "privilege" of being your entertainment, with no realistic expectation of any monetary compensation.  How arrogant does that sound to you?

Razer was essentially the UK's equivalent to Biohazard. Surely they made out nicely in the way of winnings and royalties for likenesses and toys and all that other good stuff.

I'm not sure if Mortis' hate was manufactured or not but they certainly did carry an air of entitlement by describing at length their L30,000 robot.

It was manufactured - it stemmed from them getting a mulligan that they undeniably deserved (there was a spike hazard on the "start" line, and it fired right at the beginning, breaking a tank track).  For reasons I can't fathom, everyone said they were poor sports, even after they offered to take it on the chin and forefeit.

To get back on topic, if robot combat was back on TV, I'd prefer a battlebots-type arena to the robot wars one. The gap between the arena rails and the wall gave flippers a disproportionate advantage. Pits, killsaws and the like are fine though, because they make wedge fights much more exciting.
I disagree, why not just make the walls higher?  You don't want to discourage people from making WBC and Gravity-esque flippers.
