Modifications / Re: ReForged AI Pack - Development
« on: September 06, 2015, 03:31:53 PM »
You know this build bots and send them to me concept gives me a really fun idea where people send there bots no matter how terrible and an ai pack is made to showcase bots made all over the community.

But seriously, guys....

I'm tempted to try and get back into this game.
But as always, I'd just make weird sh** that merely needs to "look cool", and that's about it. Since, you know, it's all I've been good at. But whatever.
You sound like me when I'm being modest.

But it's not quite 'Ow the Edge' level. Suggestions on making it edgier?
Make the spin motors play Crawling
Nah, mang...
It needs more razors :^)
You do realize if you add more razors you break RA2 and if you break RA2 a time hole appears, Morgan Freeman comes from the other side says in his godly voice "This is the conscquence of breaking RA2.", put a imovable dunce cap on your head and walks off.

This is Reier he/she is a person who plays a super obscure 12 year old game with a community that doesn't seem to pay any attention to him/her.  He will be remembered for his/her contribution to GTM and now a moment of silence to remember the times of Reier.

In all seriousness the following was done in toungue and cheek keep building Reier and you will be noticed.

Discussion / Re: Why are attachment points labeled by gender?
« on: September 05, 2015, 05:30:45 AM »
I think it's because that's how connectors are labeled in engineering in real life.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_of_connectors_and_fasteners
Although this doesn't seem to serve any purpose for RA2 since there's no actual physical difference between a male and female attachment point iirc, I'm not sure why they chose to make the game work that way.
It's so they say they have some depth of "Realism".

I can understanding that when your trying to make a serious contribution to something but all that goes through peoples minds is "Hey it's that guy who did that really silly thing."

You know I have the idea of starting a forum rebuilding your bot teams and improving on them.

I'm still maining Meta Knight. Not doing too badly all things considered. Still screw up and freefall to my death a lot because why would he grab a ledge when he is only overlapping with it? Mainly get kills from up+Bing people off the top of the screen.
Love that up b move.

Mains: Shulk, Donkey Kong, Lucina and Lucas.

Sometimes Play: Greninja, Robin, Ryu and Mario.
My mains as of now are Lucina, Jigglypuff, Yoshi, and Toon Link. Sides are Palutena, Duck Hunt, Lil Mac, and Shulk (in that order).

I approve of these Shulk and lucina mains.

Manlines should come from the player skill not the bot itself.

My top seven mains are Sonic, Pikachu, Kirby, Ness, Yoshi, Jigglypuff, and Mario. Not necessarily in that order. Just to make it blunt, I'm not exactly the best at the game. I just can't seem to get my approach options without looking predictable.
Urgh, Sonic and Yoshi :(
I know they're both a pain.

If we're talking mains mine are Shulk, Ike, Greninja, Megaman and Lucina (tell me I should use Marth and your head just might explode).
