Oops, I thought it would be quiet simple like that.
Trov, G.K, I learned through trial and error how to export and code ect arenas and taught Daleksec7 for the purposes of the Robot Wars Mod. It's all been going swimmingly but there is something I have no idea what to do yet and it's been holding us back more than anything, and that is add arena hazards. Particularly flame jets, hellraizers, and placing lose objects like bricks & tyres. Ducks guide helped start me off to a degree but I realised that it doesn't really get that far with the gmf editing to accommodate new textures and parts. It's all just really editing existing existing arena .gmfs by hand where as we use .3ds... Elp please lads? 85

First off it's called full combat as Craaig says. Secondly it's a maybe, Jonnos thinking that hosting an annual full combat event with the right safety precautions should make television companies feel more inclined to make a deal. Old spinners from RW, well all of them will get absolutely wrecked but there are a few of the old roboteers who are interested in building something new, a few of them are the classic teams we've been speaking to for the game. But don't expect them to instantly return and be as good as the American spinners. Also our current heavyweights are not designed to take on spinners so if Jonnos plans all go ahead then just about everyone will be building new robots. Also, why don't you just post screenshots of Jonno's Facebook posts? Would bee a lot easier than a short post which slightly misinterprets the information given. 89

Rules will have to be changed for IRL when the mod comes out anyway. :P The balancing for more powerful weapons and stuff to make RA2 act like robots today is like.... Dude. I'm going to have to find out how to change the in game weight limits. To balance a LW's weapons to give it the same power and strength as a real life FW means the buggers have to weigh about 300-320kg.
Anywhore... In the mod everything causes damage equally. Spinners moreso than others but only enough to rip a panel or two off. So you'd be able to score a match on the points alone and call it an accurate desicion haha. 96

Before people start panicking. This mod uncludes a collection of other custom arenas and components released over the years aswell as our own. This is the mod where all the stuff you weren't allowed to use in tourneys before become allowed.
Having such a large collection of everyone's productivity over the past decade means a lot of MBs. And considering the new RW components take up more MBs than DSL we've had to drop the custom stuff that is deemed as not good enough or pointless (like reskinned copies of arenas or arenas that cause massive lag or crash... Like the cave, mars and onslaught arenas for example). If you want to keep the old arenas. Just install them onto a clean copy of RA2 Then install the mod afterwards. 97

Garfie was using the electric arena as an example. It's a stock arena so we can't necessarily remove it but I'm in the same mind as Garfie about it, it's either too much box with hazards on or too much vibrating buzzes with the hazards on.
Redace, I took the first snapshot off my mobile. Didn't spot mirrored logo textures either side of the screen before. My fault! 98

Cheers lads. After this weekend I'll be working on downsizing the poly count and (sadly) remaking a couple of arenas because they're too high in poly count and get the buggers exported!
The arenas called 'The Death Facility,' named by Craaig. It's a cross between the Magazine Death Zone arena from the first page of this thread crossed with the combots arena. There's two oota zones either side on the LCD screen behind low walls and because of the lack of space outside the arena, some robots can save themselves and get back in, much like combots! Good for an interesting HW tourny if someone wants to use it in future. 99
