Preytor_4 mentioned my server, and yeah - other then my site's staff, it's pretty much GTM folks on it right now.
You can sign up here. There's no real requirements for application. Just behave yourself once on the server to avoid being kicked. One caveat: we're currently operating on Minecraft 1.0(.1), and not 1.1 while waiting for Bukkit to be updated, so if you've updated Minecraft you'd have to downgrade your copy for the time being. I have instructions for that on my forum.
That's what I hear. There's no reason I've not played them; I've owned all of Nintendo's home consoles. I guess they just slipped by me. Maybe I oughta look up the Gamecube and N64 versions at Gamestop of something.
I've got a server that I've been running for a few months now with my site's staff. You can see what we've done here. We're taking applications to join on my site's forum, if anyone wants to be a productive member of our small society. We can't take very many (server limits), so we're going to be picky about our new citizens.
I've been hanging around on there and I am missing something important there. Why is there no tap for Sony games (PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3 and soon-ish also PS Vita)?
The reason is simple: I do most all of the reviews and I don't own a Sony system anymore. I had a PSX but it died of use and old age, I had a PS2 but I lent it to one of my staff members and the guy dropped it and pretty much destroyed it (it actually looked more 'thrown' then dropped: case cracked open, disk drive broken and hanging out, etc) and when I had the funds to buy either a PS3 or an Xbox 360 I bought the 360. I do have a handful of PS2 reviews from before my system's 'accident' here. It's s similar reason why there's only one review for the original Xbox. I got one used and it died within a month of getting it, so I only got one review out of it. I run the site completely out of my own pocket and said pocket isn't very deep. I'm hoping that Santa will fill that void this month but I sent letters to the North Pole for a PS3 the last few years to no avail. Funny but unrelated story: my Dreamcast got tripped over years ago and died (I have a hard time with game consoles). Last year I was hinted from family that I had a new piece of hardware coming for the Holidays, so naturally I thought, 'great, finally - a PS3.' No, they found a used Dreamcast and bought it for me. How's that for an awkward Christmas gift? You're looking for a new current-gen rig and instead you get a used 11 year old system.
TL:DR - I have nothing against Sony, I just don't have any of their hardware anymore.
I'm not sure this is the appropriate forum for this, but here goes. I've been reviewing console and PC games on my site since January 2005 - so I'm not some start-up or upstart - and I wanted to share it with you folks. Formerly e-AAGH.net, it's now called All Around Gaming Hub, or just AAGH. I've got a meager staff now (I used to have more, but they bailed years ago) and I do 99% of the writing, so you'll see mostly my stuff. We underwent a change from a handmade HTML-based site to this new Wordpress-based setup in February this year. (If, for some reason, you're curious about our history, it's all described here.)
I strive for a generally professional style without an elitist tone. My goal is to speak to the 'average gamer,' rather then the uber hardcore or overly casual gamers. If you like games, play them for fun (and not to prove some arbitrary point about your perceived self-worth) and just enjoy gaming as a hobby and not a job, you'll like AAGH.
Oh, and if this is out of place, please lock it and/or delete it. Thanks!
I thought I posted about this once but I can't find my topic so boom - here's a new one. Does anyone remember my original
? I ran it over six years ago on my old Alphaforum (anyone remember that archaic thing?). AON2, the sequel, is still at it and the latest episode, just went live.
and lemme know what you think.
Tell you what Alpha, I might have a bit of an idea- I could make a checklist of all the components and download the pack, and examine each rep for the parts that are and are not used anywhere, pruning the ones that are not needed. If I can do that, then maybe it'll make it much easier to download.
If you can do that I'll host the result.
That'd be good- once my new compy arrives on Monday, I'll get to work on it. In return, would it be possible if I hosted a team in the pruned version?

The files should all be copied over a stock Robot Arena 2 game. The .cfz files in the root directory (this is very important) and the other files in the directories they're named for. I also released the two patches, so grab them too and let me know if it still gives you fits.
