Sounds interesting. I'd get to work on it myself, but I don't have any clue how to code for RA-2, so I can't be of service.

Oh yeah, I made this bot maybe...20 minutes? after I made that one.
This is pretty much a V:2 of Lazy Auto Hammertron. Except that this time, I had a bit of an idea what I was doing, so its far more effective. Its got a skirt to avoid flipping, but it still gets flipped easily. It is lightly armored, but its easy to chew through my armor/go around it, and so most matches end with the enemy robot completely destroyed, or my circuit board destroyed. The Typhoon flag hosts no further purpose then to boost its weight, same for the smart zones. 84

So I tried a bit harder.
Not much harder, just a bit, as in I actually aimed when putting parts on it.

Ah, well that is a shame. I guess I will make due with what I have, it will work out fine.

I'm not willing to log into the game to find their exact name. But is there a custom component anywhere around here for a longer plate for spinner shell? a 60 cm one was not large enough for my needs, and so there is unnecessary weak spots on my newest PoS bot.
I am, as your all aware, notoriously bad at finding things I need, and so I've failed to locate info about where, assuming this is even existent, I could find larger plates. So if you happen to know, I'd love it if you contributed such info. EDIT: Fixed a very silly typo. 88
Existing Games / Re: Roller Coaster Tycoon« on: July 08, 2011, 01:48:37 PM »
I prefer to do the same thing, with more loops, and other such stuff, before it goes in reverse and does it again.
That did remind me, how easily the people in that game are impressed though. They screamed twice ._. 89

I prefered roller coaster tycoon 2. I beat all the scenario's in Loopy Landscapes, Corkscrew Follies (or something like that, I forget the packs exact name) and of course the classic version.
I really liked building a custom ride I called the Shuttle Loop V.4.3, it had 4 loops, and a corkscrew turn, before returning to the base rig. I was able to charge up to 7$ per ride without the little people complaining. I made so much money off it, I started giving away free food. 91

DSL TC Showcases / Re: Kujii's Nutcase [DSL Bots]« on: July 05, 2011, 06:19:14 AM »
The wheels are indeed badly angled, and if I was intending on actually fighting with it, I would of course be placing those wheels on the inside within seconds.
As for the motors, I couldn't improve them if I wanted to, this robot is built to the weight capacity, and so the additional batteries (due to Amp usage of course) and the weight of the motors themselves would cause me to have to remove a good portion of my armor, or weapons, both of which I need in excess amount for a robot as large as this one. I will of course consider your advice if I ever go back and try to make this robot more combat efficient. 94
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Kujii's Nutcase [DSL Bots]« on: July 05, 2011, 05:29:58 AM »
Actually, it can move, and I'm not talking about in circles either. The robot crawls across the arena in a straight line when I have the LB[1] wheel spin clockwise, the RF[2] wheel spin counterblockwise, and reflect the pattern with the other corresponding sets. It actually moved at a decent rate, I was capable of getting about 500 points of ram damage in, and it is intended for spinning.
I found it quite fun to make this bot, and what is of course important, is if the person playing the game had fun, not the performance level of the vehicle in question. 95
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Kujii's Nutcase [DSL Bots]« on: July 05, 2011, 05:08:00 AM »
I will keep that in mind, next time I build something 'for the luls', as I mention when posting the robot.
You see, I don't actually take this game too seriously, so I don't mind how good the robot is at actual combat, I build it so that it looks good, or confusing, or just to see what happens. As such, trying is out of the question. In fact, once I spend too much effort on a bot, I no longer am having fun, and is not the point of a game, to have fun? 96

New bot! I built this one just to see how stupid I could be.
Enjoy ripping it to pieces, I built it for lulz. 98
