On a scale of this: I am currently a "Challenger Elite", not sure how many games played. I'd be higher, but my main mate I play with is a complete noob. He hasn't mastered the basic mechanics at all (i.e. jumping and flipping whilst on the ground makes you go faster, flying (at any level) and he follows the ball EVERYWHERE), most matches we play are 2v1 with him getting the odd pass off. I'd like to play more seriously though tbh, pairing with randoms is tricky too.

I picked it up for the ps4 when it was free for plus members and i loved it. And to be honest i think its the game i have put most hours into, and i dont mean hours after hours in one go, but its THE game to play in between other things
If you have an PS4 and looking to win some ranked doubles hit me up: onnaj-san
Whats your ranking in ranked doubles?

Was anyone really, really, annoyed with the new Dantomkia team? I mean I love the bot (as a lot of people do), but these guys were terrible drivers, the "captain" wailing on the bot with a hammer pretending to fix it (I know the military grade armour can withstand it, but still) and the fact that they performed so poorly. In some of the early fights it was like they just discovered they could flip stuff. The constant "putting the tail up" so it couldn't get under TR2 in the final like at all, these guys really ruined the episode for me. As a side note, I thought TR2 was a decent new comer (aside from the "axe") and the 15 year old doing the driving did really well and they did deserve to go through all in all, Dantomkia has just been ruined for me and my brother... Anyone else agree?

Most thwack bots don't have a secondary rammer on the front, is it supposed to drive like an SnS or do you ram into them and spin at them?
Can you not just use normal extenders instead of the T-connectors for the iron spikes and save weight?

ayyyy looks like something sage would build and the maces look pretty cool
TIL i have a style. geice has always been mace-master tho
it'd be cool to try and see if you could AI it so that one burst fired at the perfect time to enhance the other burst. Could be cool for making OHKO popups...
hmm might try that
Nooo! Pop-ups dont need a buff

if they added some "rules" to the bot lab I would actually be mostly okay with the game.
I like the chassis system and the arenas are sick and it has the potential to have online + bot sharing.
Which just makes the whole thing that much sadder... Some good points RO1... Especially the "mostly complete" comments from the devs, such liesssss!

So just a quickie... Do we think this has gone belly up?
Last I heard we were to expect fortnightly updates, rather than weekly, but with nothing posted on Steam since June 20th... I'm doubtful...
I was on the edge of investing, but when they made the decision to bring it out of early access just for the Steam Sale, I was shocked to see such a blatant cash grab with no regard for the users, very poor move in my opinion... There is always going to be more Steam Sales in which they could have aligned the release date to.
I'm now glad I never actually bought and tried this out as i'm starting to believe nothing further will develop.
Is the dream over?

I honestly would have put my money on Redace before the fight, but it turns out your stock wedges aren't as bad as you think badger haha!
Matches were kind of slow, but I think Redace could have at least won the second match if his bot didn't start donutting after the small havok. No probs hosting guys, happy to do again!
You mean after the countdown? think the havok happened after that. It's very annoying if bots don't want to drive in straight lines.
I expected something like this to happen after seeing the design. Think the Double Wedge setup might be the next big thing after Popups or Spinners, it doesn't leave any of the front wedgeless(unlike the plows or having normal chassis in the middle) so you need to either hit the wedges, or what happens more commonly, since bots don't drive perfectly straight, one wedge gets in the middle and then gets chewed, bot gets lifted up, fight is done. This might also be the reason for Conundrum v6's success except that those wedges were steeper.
Hope that Redace gets more luck next time, he seems to be the Behemoth Team in this forum, having good ideas and a great machine but it just doesn't work out when it needs to.
Also I'm rather new to stock glitches but I'd love to see how the double motor/wheel setup is done like that, don't see any extenders on the side and they are perfectly lined up.
Do you mean the setup on Badgers bot? I have a theory... But not sure. *EDIT* Just saw Badgers reply

Poll added.
Doesn't the vote need to include Stock/Ironforge/DSL firstly?

Really like the concept. It will really show how skillful a builder you are seeing how unique and effective a design you can make from the same base as everyone else.
Sadly I don't DSL, but the Splash should be interesting...
You should join anyways. I don't play DSL as well but seeing how this has a already given chassis as well as being MW, there isn't that much you can do with it and it can't be possibly worse than my entry.
I feel like when we finally meet in a tournament it needs to be an epic clash of huge proportions. My entry for this would not be epic
