I only have one true 3DS game: Tales of the Abyss 3D. Pretty nice and relatively faithful PS2 port for the system.
Other than that, all I have is Pokemon Black 2. I would have more DS games (and a DS Lite), but all of that I gave to my friend in Brooklyn for his 18th birthday/graduation back in 2011.

I was just thinking about the lowering the pit slowly. I don`t know if you can trick the physics of the game but would something like this work:
(Image removed from quote.)
1: that`s the pit when you enter the arena.
2: that`s when you press the pitbutton. I know you can move stuff slowly in a horizontal way like the pitcover in the octagon and skull arena. the light grey bar moves as fast as you program it to the side and the pitcover moves slowly downwards.
know what I mean?
I think it should work, but I do worry slightly that it would create a slightly angled pit drop until it hits bottom.

nah, far too much havok potential and lag to be worth it.
I seem to remember someone doing an Alcoholic Stepfather clone from a while back with this same mechanism. I'm guessing that's how you found out that Mecanum wheels are just not worth it?

Gary Coleman?
Yeah. Coleman was a part of Team Nightmare during the last season of Battlebots.

I might have a chance against Sliced (provided I can keep tossing him into the air), but there's no way I'm going beyond that thanks to the Skirt Hinge wedge.

Grats Click, and thanks for (what's essentially) a heads up as to least one of the components that will probably be in DSL3.

I bet I'm one of two LW flippers that aren't using the Judge Burst (I have a Small JX in mine).

Pretty sure Wonder Wasp takes the title of smallest bot in the tourney.
So far Voltergeist is the only flipper I've seen in the lightweight division.

I did, and unlike yours, mine isn't a "metal hinge wedge= poor show" bot.

I don't believe it; this is going to be the biggest tournament since BBEANS6... I think. How do we send them??? Just finished building mine
You should compress it into a .zip file and then upload it to here: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?page=page4749From there, just copy the link provided by the uploader and send it to MassimoV via PM.

My robot is in, and if it is accepted, will likely be the only flipper not using a Judge Burst.

Lightweight is done, now to work on the middleweight.
And no worries this time; both bots are going to be a LOT more realistic than Flood 2. Besides, I've made that one a full on DSL robot...

Update: I now have a finalized robot for this thing once it gets to entry submission time.

Would like to enter, possibly with a better design or two (no more FUS RO DAH).

trying to find the error here:
list.append(("AW-DEDBDNME","Pusher",{'invertible':True,'nose':math.pi,'radius':0.1,'topspeed':99,'throttle':130,'turn':60,'turnspeed':2.5})) list.append(("AW-Dust Devil","Omni",{'invertible':True,'nose':math.pi,'radius':0.1,'topspeed':99,'throttle':130,'turnspeed':3.5,'range':99,'weapons':(1,)})) list.append(("AW-Meteorite","Pusher",{'invertible':True,'nose':math.pi,'radius':0.1,'topspeed':99,'throttle':130,'turn':60,'turnspeed':2.5}))
Could it be that range is in the wrong spot, or does that not matter in terms of AI'ing the robot?

All vids are now up.
Should I bother making an awards thread?
Also, nominating the 2nd round of the grand final for funniest match ever.
I'd say go ahead; I know I'll vote at least. *goes back to lurking*

Seriously, it's got sawblades for wheels? Something tells me in my gut, it's similar to Ginsu from Battlebots.
As well as Demolition Man from Series 6 of Robot Wars (then again, Demolition Man is just an evo of Saw Point, so... yeah).

A LG Rumor Touch from Virgin Mobile. Looking at getting either a Galaxy SII Skyrocket or Galaxy SIII soon when I change carriers from Virgin to AT&T (or, I've had enough of Sprint's towers and Verizon costs too much for too little).

i made a lolbot (Image removed from quote.) 398.3
Reminds me of my original idea for WTF, Mate!?- a dual E-Tek Drive with a 25 kg hammer. Yours is done much, much better though.
