Never heard of this AI before...what does it do that an AI like FBS_1 doesn't do?

Sure! Be great actually. Try to keep it more Lego-oriented though.
oh ok. i was just worried cause the bots are made of metal and legos.

definately joining! ;D
hey. I'm in an after school robotics program and we use LEGO/Tetrix parts to build bots. would it be okay to post those?

It would be interesting if ball itself could have some sort of an AI "beacon" and bots would chase it and maybe one bot from each team could play goalkeeper.? Idk, sounds complex, but I guess it's feasible.

Yay! I've been waiting for this! :-D I think I can make a decent entry within that time.

erm... what ?
have you seen my entry ?
oh. No I haven't. How could I have? Haha I was talking about the door hinge wedge. I've been playing around with that idea for a while and I thought that extra connection points on axle mounts and hinges could help make that build easier. If you don't know what I mean, it's okay. -.-

i love the arena! how did you do that? it's awesome! :)

ok cool thanks
I think my entry might do ok ? not really sure, had to ditch the door hinge wedge because it was inducing havoks
still more experimentation towards my final goal
i think that some components could use more attachment points. that would make what you were trying to create easier to create.

@HD259: From the length of the flipper it doesn't looks like it, but can your bot self-right ?
HD259? That's like hypno259 and hypnodisc7 mixed together. haha. Anyways, no it isn't able to self right, sadly. But that's what the skirts are for; to deflect flippers EDIT: you know, come to think of it, I haven't really tested it for self-righting. When I get it back up to running condition again, I'll have to test that.

How about you make a forum for those who are pure n00bs to the game. They'll at least have some equal competition and it'll be more fair. Then, if the desire, once they get some decent experience, mainstream them to GTM.
