The robot itself is a crawler, such that the relative orientation of the chassis is irrelevant to its movement. And yes, when invertability is set to False, then the bot does not attempt to move.

Modifications / Removing the reversal of direction when inverted in AI.

Hello,

I have found myself needing an AI which does not change drive direction when the chassis is inverted. Does anyone know if and how such a change would be possible?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

i just realized how dumb entering a dual perm hs with no bottom protection into this was......

Especially when you know for sure that one of the entries is a popup. :P

I'd maybe lighten up your wedges and go for a heavy plow and hypnos.

MY HS IS MORE GLORIOUS THAN THAT

I think just about every HS is more glorious than that. :P

Still, I like the simplicity of the design.

*waits for some popup to KO it*

After testing it in 123ai, I think so!
It also needs some piston protection as that will get taken off if anything goes over it.

Storm pistons have massive HP.

Better off with a Storm piston perhaps?

Didn't you post this a while back?

In light of all the Crusierweights being showcased, I have decided to repost my CW FSS

In light of all the Crusierweights being showcased, I have decided to repost my CW FSS for your consideration:

Heavy Cruiser (see what I did there? :P) is a CW FSS with an externally mounted (on the largest DSL disk) 6-mag powering a disk with 24 razors. The only thing I don''t like about is the only somewhat cubic chassis (at least I tried) which I will probably try to fix. It can take on many HWs in NAR AI.

Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Yeah, it's a glorified crawler that abuses the stupidity of the AI to ensure that its glaringly disks aren't hit while simultaneously making the opponents drive towards its quite unrealistic weapon setup which completely protect the chassis from damage...

So yeah, it's cheap. :P

hehehe, my new gut-ripping poker design won against the "oh so generic" Ill Omen style gut-ripping pokers(to mad(m)am3: you should have used Popup.py, like my bot).

The two designs seem almost identical, except his front armor extends up a little higher. To suggest that your design is somehow "new" is absurd.

Ban flails/popups and we get two crawlers... bravo.

It needs bottom protection, especially if you are going to use a weak motor for such a large shell.

I hate seeing "intentionally bad DSL" pass for "IRL"

Chocolate is NOT IRL

Its basically Hazard with a plow and two wheel drive. It is so incredibly IRL that to even suggest otherwise is laughable.

I really believe setting it to be a certain quota is a bad idea. Like you just said, some of them would be filler.

I suppose you're right. Once the bots have been narrowed down, I guess it would be best that we just leave it as is.

Alright Badnik, this list needs to have some quality control.

One idea I had was to create a new thread (or this thread I guess) using the list of bots we have right now, and ask people to list which bots they thing should be removed from the list. If any particular bot gets more than say... 10 votes or something, then the bot is removed from the list. Once we at least narrow the list down to bots we can all agree deserve to be there, we can attempt to find enough deserving bots to fill the list completely.

Do you really need your chassis to stick out with the e-techs? Perhaps some sort of small extender (like a hex plate) would be better.
