Using a razors in this case is "a must".
Yeah, make the wedges wider, but also rotate the plows from /^\ to \^/
Make it a 4WD with HPs.
If you have any weight left, put some more front protection, add static ramplates on anchors in the front in the addition to the current one, or spam the front with b. casters.
Consider adding a plow in the back to keep your enemy on your bot, like in NWB and RPB.

I was thinking of making the biggest (in the real world) console to fit maximally the design grid, and every other smaller console to be proportionally smaller to the biggest one. Making them 1:1 (with the real world sizes) will make them to lack space to fit interesting and cool stuff. And as I told, only the Xbox One for now is lacking a proper all sides textures in the net.

Nope.
It would be better if you download the game from this link (this is a clean stock version of the game, patched to latest) ^
Just uninstall first the instaled version, clean the registry and unrar this ^ to any folder.
You will avoid a lots of later problems that way (like unlocking the hidden components and fixed buttons).
RA2 is not registry demanding game, no need to install, you can have multiple copies at a same time, you can delete it, you can unrar it only and so.
Also, the crashes sounds like you have problems/viruses with your OS.

Now we just need a tourney called "Console Wars" and every bot must be skinned as a video game console  :dumb)
That's genius. Someone do it nao.
My idea was to try something like this, I can make the old consoles rightly scaled bot chasis, skinned awesome, then they can be used for both stock and DSL. The only problem right now is the Xbox One textures, there are enough texture matrial for the old consoles. So, any help with Xbox1?

dude bone dragon
To be that, it needs :
-a longer tail;
-a longer horns, or at least this one reversed at 180 degrees;
-a sheets for a wings, the current wings are to skinny-bone-ish and too small to fly;
-the front neck spikes must go on the back neck, even if it's need to sacrifice the piston for the jaw;
-a nails on the top of the wings;
-and probably a vertical sitting position (will be hard to make).
...yeah, I'm a maximalist...
The bone dragon was the lamest in the game, azure dragon anyone?

Sorry for the spam, Domanating.

May someone help me please, I looked for some Xbox One all sides clear direct view pics in google, but didn't find any good enough (to use for a skin). I want to make a bot, that looks like a Xbox One console and to mock it, destroy it or whatever other humiliations. It will be a good joking bye bot for some tournament.

Spike Spam = Remove some irons and upgrade the drive to HPs.
Bear Hug 4 = Replace the irons with a razors, and add "moar" protection.
Roach = Ditch the swords and the airtanks, use the weight for a blades on the wedges for example.
Voltage Strike = The wedges probably sux, but it's a OK bot.
Overvoltage Strike = Exchange the caster and the static razor for a more razors on the weapon.
The failed experiment = Even if you achieve the spin speed of the large hadron collider, this bot will still sux hard due to a lack of weapons and any protection.

*Looking at the Xbox One, and thinking of 2 things :*
-They missed a word in the title of their "failed project" : Xbox The Last One. GG MS, I wish you a bancrupt, you greedy bastards.
-And some people tryed to convince me in the "top 20 games" thread, that the today game industry is not going to heck...
And I don't like the "rant guy" from the Ianh's video, he is just too kind and soft to "Microsh**s", I just feel the need to hit a MS fag on the head with one Xbox One.

I'm finally sober to post the final...
The grand final is up.
You can post your comments about the tournament and to nominate for a moral prizes (best looking bot, dark horse, bad lucker and so...).
In the end, it's up to you all to decide, are the freaks that dangerous, and should they be allowed in the regular tournaments.

Does it, like, cause said explosion each time you battle with it?
Nope, rarely. Go watch the NvsF videos, it havoked 1 or 2 times for the whole tournament.

Is this consistent enough to occur on most of the bots you're gonna build from now on? If so, SWEET.
I'm going to say "yes". It occur on every bot of me with a wedges lately, plus, when was the last time when you saw an enhaced VS to totaly outwedge the NF? But the good news are 2 :
1. I don't plan to enter anywhere for now with a super wedgy bot;
2. I'm testing now my "superb wedges recipe" to see, is it not just a very lucky random coincidence. And it's not. I just need some more experiments with all the ingredients, 'cos I plan to reveal my secrets and post a detailed tutorials before I leave permanently.

Don't know how to interprete this pic ^
The armour of my 2 bots will be weakened for the final, according to the rules.
Semi-final B is now up.
For now, the "supposed to be good" bots continues, so what mr. AS guessed is right.

Points are obviously going to favour HS because of their design to hit everything around them. Either way hope you fix it if you plan to use this format again.
I will, but that's why all the tournaments went thru a "discusion" stage, why no one proposed anything when the NvsF was in a discusion stage? The initial rules was posted very early and they clearly said, what scoring system I was about to use. I even discussed my tournament with you, way before I started it, I even done some advices from you.

OK, now every bot of me with wedges have "that magic wedges". Now even my VSes "outwedge" the NF (the enhaced VSes are supposed to be highly unstable and to had a bad wedges). It's not a scifi from now on :
This happens 10 out of 10 times, so yeah, it have probably a better wedges than NMA.

Merging my old posts instead of a multi-posting :

Pretty much all the occasions I encountered a bot having wedges sinking underground, the other bot does as well (should it have wedges), so it will still be a wedge war. :<
Can't remember such a strange thing, but in my testings, only the my bot was with sinked wedges, so dunno what you are talking about.
Nice to someone being able to do it consistently, though.
However, even when I failed to sink the wedges, I still outwedge NF, so it's still a win. As for the rapid spin bug, it's very easy to replicate, so it works, the only problem is, that the setup for it is very heavy, the advantage is, that it achieves it's max speed way faster than 2 chained HPs, and it's not so easy to stop, since nothing is chained.

Dat Grenade....
....is a "rape train" :

In case, if someone didn't check out the archive.

:facepalm:
I just discovered that I had "StarCore version: latest 4" all the time, and tought this is SC3...
Going to film my tournament now.
