DSL TC Showcases / Re: Helloface's horrible realistic showcase

words and stuff
1) From an aesthetic standpoint, ME's are zero, zilch and nada. They're fugly and look really messy in extender work
2) If you're going for what I think you're going for, don't bother. AI care not for infinite HP parts and will attack them all the same. But if you're going for what I actually think you're going for, I'd just use a normal extender.
3) I would replace those back ME's with a shell plate (it's what I did on Orsimer, which has a similar thing going on around the wheels) and then put a shorter DSL bar on the shell plate, then put a longer one on the end of that. Hopefully the rule of seven will comply with that.

I showcased my team, just not the insides of the bots.

Not like it matters though.

General Support / Re: NO DSL WHATSOEVER!

cutting through all the spam and crap, this is what he said (roughly)

Quote
I have two versions of RA2; I have stock in a different folder with one mod installed (Cherry Flavored's Anti-ballast) and I have DSL in another folder and separate drive entirely. I was playing stock for a little while and then I decided to play DSL. It gave me a "Windows couldn't find a solution to the problem" error after DSL crashed (This was a ready-to-go version of DSL 2.1 downloaded from the RA2 wiki). My backup DSL did the same thing. So, I reinstalled it, ran it, and it gave me the same problem.

My question is: How do I have DSL and Stock installed at the same time and be able to run both of them with no problems?

Anyway, other than keeping them in separate folders and running the corresponding .exe of the version of ra2 that you want to play, I don't think there is anything else to be done. I never have this problem and I have DSL2.1 and DSL3 installed on my computer.

Marching is athletic, but I don't think it counts. (Nor would I say that being a rockstar is a sport.)
Good point, but being a rockstar doesn't mean you get into competitions and win medals.

I usually get all defensive when someone is like "hurr marching band isn't a sport you don't (this) or (that)" so I must excuse myself.

791
it's sh** because it's a bosmer
yep

they're also athletic fellows iirc so it's kinda fast. I'll take a family photo or something soon.

792
its... large?
actually no its not even large. i just dont really like pushers. or is it supposed to be a punching bag?

either way at least put a iron or something on so it at the very least has some sort of chance.
It is a punching bag and a pusher. Nary should know why.

It's decent at doing what it does, though.

Marching Band is a sport, it's competitive, and I compete in it.

So the last member of the Meri Dominion; Bosmer Pickpocket.

Decked out in Chitin armor, Bosmer Pickpocket is light and nippy.

As for Dwemer, after churning and churning out possible designs (including a centurion version of Sir Lance-a-Frog, a 10wd rammer with a heavy plow and car steering, a Diesector/plunderbird hellchild...) and not being satisfied by any of them, I decided to stick with the original. So, nothing changed. And that's the team.

I did exactly what I didn't want to do; I made a team of rammers and pushers, whereas 2 of them were supposed to be hammers, 1 a spinner and the other a poker. gg kossokei

If it's any consolation to him, Youtube ad revenue is a bubble, and anyone who makes Youtube videos their full time job is a fool.
I could probably tell you 3 people who lived pretty well off of youtube add revenue

Is there any way I could help speed up the process? After my tournament is done, could I help you AI,
find bugs, etc?

@Kossokei, I have a working anti-ballast if you still need one.
Nah. I found an antiballast for SHW and UHW.

Thanks for offering though! After BB7 I'll see what I can do about finishing the SCP team just for you :P

-Also, it's not a fact saying "no one cares for my work", cause I like your stuff.
didn't see that in there.

I like what you do, I just don't like the attitude you put forth outside of doing what you do.

And, same thing with Maz. I usually rise up and white knight irl whenever I can, and so taking such a stance against it like that... usually won't end nicely.

That being said, this kosspicmazbbb stuff doesn't mean I wish ill of you. Take care.

Hello and good evening to you.

Think of it like this:

A rookie archer draws his bow. He fires the arrow and misses the target completely. He picks up another arrow and fires again. Bulls-eye.

The arrow is the product.
The archer is the company/person that made the product.
The bow is the distribution media/method.
The target is the intended audience.

Companies make a product for a specific audience. Sometimes, it reaches the audience, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it's 50/50. Just look at My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It was designed for girls and young women, yet has a massive male fan base. Likewise, CoD has a significant female fan base (nowhere near as large as the male MLP fan base, known as Bronies).

In the end, the target audience is, in my dumb opinion, less significant than putting effort into the final product. Looking back at MLP, the Bronies don't like it just to prove society wrong; it's actually a high-quality television show and is seen by most as one of the last good children's TV shows.
Oh hey look, you fired the arrow and missed the target completely.

Much like the Xbox One, I see a lot more talk about television than I do video games.
