Oh, so it's just a 1WD HS, S_M style? That's what I thought when I saw the first bot, but you said it was a LW SnS, and later something about Urjak's fancy AI for his Bane series (of which I've never heard since I'm not into DSL), so I was just trying to guess what the Bane AI does.

Wait, so how does the AI work? Does it start out as an SnS and switch to FBSPlus when the immobility counter starts?

What I meant is that it was just a cool bot and cool splash. No efficiency at all here, and not a very original design as well.
I was going for an Artbot, actually. Being combat effective is just icing on the cake.

I just can't get three in a row, can I? =P
I'M SORRY  :(

I'm shocked with the results. It's not every BOTM an entry gets more votes than all the others combined (except for the one preceding, I know). I thought it would be a lot closer, especially after NFX said
I don't really like #1 for some reason, I don't know what it is about it. It might be the wheels going through the angled parts of the chassis, it just looks a little bit ungainly for my liking.
which scared the heck out of me. I was like NFX Y U DO THIS TO ME?! Plus a few people thought #1 was NFX's entry, which was probably a discouraging factor.

Anyway thanks for the votes guys, even if they weren't for me. This was a BOTM with really good diversity among its entries, and they all deserved a vote.

are bumble bee esque crawlers (4wd crawlers) cool with you ?
No bumble balls, uncontrollable crawlers, trinity flyers, etc. If your bot cannot track another bot down, it is not allowed.
Bumble Bee was very controllable, so yeah. 2WD could work too as long as you have a tail/stabiliser thing that's longer than the radius of the "wheels" of the crawler.

Happy birthday practitioner of the divination of chaos.

Discord also wishes you a happy birthday.

@fracture: lol if thats what ya wanna do, knock yourself out, but you won't be ranked.
There are rankings that I'll be excluded from?! In that case, I'll just give my spot to the people who are actually gonna enter all the tournaments.

Will you rage if we only enter the Stock/only enter the DSL seasons?

Flamethrowers being allowed is right there in the rules, guys; nothing you can do.

I think "This side up" was supposed to be its name.
That does make more sense. I thought it was just there to confuse you like the rest of the splash. xD

1) Looks effective, pop-ups probably could easily destroy it.
lol popups easily destroy everything except wedgeless VS, HS with good reach, and caster armoured bots. Not that it matters because most BW popups aren't exactly great.

You could label it as a push-bot with a wide front rather than a rammer. :P

I've got suspects for who entered #1, #2, and #4, which coincidentally also happen to be the best entries (although #2 vs. #5 is debatable). #3 gets nostalgia points for reminding me of Pillar of Fire.

Lots of good variety this time around, which was quite unexpected given the weight limit. Props to everyone who entered.

Obvious win for #4
It has no name. IT MUST BE DISQUALIFIED

Round 3 Match 2: Jonzu95 vs. Reier and Round 3 Match 3: Clickbeetle vs. Hercules are up.

Reier if you want to choose your bot for any of these matches you're free to do so...

No, Stock flippers really do suck, even if they're rupters.

Awesomely made and skinned; I really like it. Not sure why grannies and squares though.

So what does it actually weigh? :P

It can't move.

The most efficient thing you can do is put the drive, weapons, and plow all on a single SnapperII with invertibility. Do you simply refuse to use SnapperIIs, or did you just not feel like using them at the time?

Oh...are you allowing the "You can cut holes in stuff" rule?

Liking the bot. Internal drive definitely gives off an IRL vibe. I'd like to see a sloped chassis, or at least more reach with the flippers.
