Definitely upgrade to a metal hinge wedge.  You can use just a BSG on this as well, but 6 razors is kinda overkill.  You could put Hypno wheels on this as well, but then it might be too generic.

Then again: efficiency > originality

Well, is '3' a too small value for the 'NoChassisTime' variable?

And the last time my Popup.py was modified was September 2nd last year, if that is outdated.

You say that a lot.
It's because it's true.

EDIT: I can't believe I wasted my 600th post on this.

Both do use small wedges and DSL bars on their metal hinges. Unlike flat sheets on metal hinges, these normally don't go under the ground (and are wedgier :P)
Wedgier my ass!

^^Speaking of which, I never received credit for IT's design.

But yeah, if you're forced to use skirts as wedges, make sure you prevent them from sinking into the ground.

It actually tends to happen more often to 1-piece wedges than to others wedge setups.  This is why I added an aluminum skirt to the front of Hydrosphere to act as a stabilizer.

Pwn, from my experience, bots with metal hinge wedges tend to do that when they don't have other means of front support.
At least that's what I think.

Philetbabe's AI chart.  He has a download of it on page 7 of this thread I believe.

I see now.  It actually reminds me more of The Digger than Silver Star.  I think we can let it slide this time.

You have the weight to upgrade to a metal hinge wedge, and I think Vlads would be better here.

Nary's gonna be pissed when he sees that you cloned one of his bots, but don't worry; most builders start out cloning other bots.

...wait...

Best Bot: Minifridge the Second; with those weapons, it would be difficult for some teams to take out.
Best Team: Nameless Ones; 2 bots that were perfectly able to KO either of ours by themselves.  I was pretty scared going up against them.
Funniest Moment: Le Crab getting KOed by its teammate; it just sticks out to me for some reason.
TTRSHDBBDDTBL: Evilocity; both were decently built, they should have gotten at least one more victory than they had.

I wouldn't mind if you had the time, G.K..

I'd say we have a fair chance of winning.  I was running some simulation matches against ymgyP and a few LW flippers, and our team seemed to win over half the time.  Then again the opposing team is not ymgyP or Scout...

Sorry, you have to get past me first.  >:)

I was bored, so I made my own version of Smashbox 2:

NPCFs, 2 PC545s, 8 ants, 5mm titanium, bottom armor: 2 halfsheets and 2 40cm AL skirts.

It doesn't have the best wedges all of the time, but is still very agile and can sometimes throw its opponents OOTA even though they outwedge it at first.
Infiniteinertia is a bag of dildos.  He's an extremely good builder, but still a bag of dildos.

But we are an elitist forum !
We shouldn't be though; we should be a democracy!

Anyway, I think that anyone has the right to enter this tournament, as long as those who enter build to the best of their abilities.  Besides, there's another 6-7 weeks until signups start, which is plenty of time to build and test entries.
