It can't move straight,
Melty-Brain AI

and its rather unbalanced

I would blame that on your vertical flail's personally, though I can't be sure.

Well, unless I'm not seeing well due to sleepiness, those were just four days, my fellow spider buddy :)

Well that is a relief, my fellow Araneae addict. :P

Might I inquire why it fails?

I like how the pack boasts "the most Extreme, Destructive, Damaging and Downright Insane bots in existence" yet doesn't allow Sheck Spinners, SNS, or popups, which are some of the most destructive RA2 bots. :P

EDIT: Wooops, this thread was older than I thought.

Now that looks familiar! :P However your drive is different and I give you props for that.

Halfsheets on a LW? Surely not

Heheheh... I got a 10 razor LW FSS with a Halfsheet for protection.

Bottom protection and non-havokiness are very important to a shell spinner's well being. However, it looks pretty good.

A Dual Perm really is a minimum requirement for a HW SS if it hope to beat any other bot types.  Mag 6 just isn't enough.

Also, it is far easier to mount an external Dual Perm than an external 6-mag.

I say cull this to only RA2 bots.

Hmmm.. It is odd that this shell spinner is outweaponed by SS that I assume have fewer razors. It may be due to the slowness of your motor (as 123STW said, speed helps piercing). Anyways, you definitely need some bottom armor or else popups will destroy you. Also, do as Pwn said and weaken your disk. Also, you might want to downgrade your drive to give you extra weight (just use Melty-Brain).

Does the shell get stopped easily by other robots?

Face Gasher.

Face Gasher was lucky because it did not go up against anyone with heavy weaponry. The saws simply wouldn't have lasted. It also had trouble with fast gut-flipping bots. :P

Or AW even!

Oh yeah... you really can not make a good AW shell spinner. It is impossible.

As long as I dodge the razor rammers I should be fine.

Seems like that carbon fiber extender is pretty exposed to a hit. Could just be the angle though.

EDIT: Curse you Madman! :P

Did you know that it's illegal to hunt whales in a swimming pool in Oklahoma?

Did you know that those stupid law things are really just made up?

The components are ~217 kg. That means your chassis is 32 kg. Much larger than it has to be.

Is that a BW? If not then how the heck did you wind up with only 8 razors and a piglet?

I don't have a saw handy, nor would my mom let me use one (I'm not very responsible)

You really do need a saw... and ideally a drill press.
