Those are surprisingly nice rims on a 323! :D Cool little car, lightweight and fun.
Yeah, a Cutlass is going to be a boat to drive. It will be pretty plush and quiet... but terribly impractical for what you were aiming for.
Too bad it wasn't an Alero. I like the styling of those. Ah well. Can we talk about your potential project car now? I've been aiming to work on mine all summer, but work and house projects have been keeping me from the garage.

Aren't the flail attachments inconsistent anyways? (allowing the weapon to pass through places it technically shouldnt) I always wondered about that. If that is the case... then yeah, that is the big difference between realistic DSL and the video.

Hahahah. Somebody totally got revenge on me for NQRW. :D Great match man. I wish you well for the rest of the tourney. My wedges were no match to yours.

Nice! This is fun to follow. My team seems to be doing well so far.
Thanks for the preview vid. I dig the AMSOIL, Dr Pepper, & Cult cars the most. The paintjobs look sweet.

If that were a real bot... the hammers would smash out the weapon motor. (I think.. it is a little hard to tell at that angle) Try to focus on keeping it realistic. It is not because we are picky, but if you enter any DSL tournaments the host will reject bots because of things like that.
You are improving though. Good work!

Oh man! What a nail-biter! SKBT, great job with your bot. The size difference was pretty amazing, and actually worked out quite well. Heck, before that "Angel-Havok" it looked like Gaff was too fat to chew on that small metal candy bar there. I am wicked psyched to get my 2nd tourney win (bear in mind I have been kicking around for years...) Great job with all the bots everyone. The creativity was amazing. And I also resonate the thanks to S_M for hosting a great tourney. The video quality was amazing and the pace of videos was perfect. Thanks for all your effort. Oh, and special thanks to pwnator for being my cheerleader good luck charm I guess. :P jack better win

???
I'm just picking on you. You seem to be an amusing wad of clay that everyone can mold by suggestions/complaints. Feel free to be decisive. When you make a decision, stick to it and don't worry about making the world happy. It will result in less stress for you and women find it endearing. Because, ultimately, you can't make everyone in the world happy. So, pick a place to draw the line and just stop trying. :D

When I flew out of the arena in the first match, was that a havok or Ra2 troll physics? I haven't seen anything like that before on a MW. Regardless, Good match Jack Daniels. I think this is also the furthest i've got in a "traditional" tournament. So i'm happy. :D Oh and get rid of the top blade for the final, seems more effective :P
Looked like troll physics to me. It seemed like there was a ton of flipping and spinning with our match. With your bot, it looks like whenever it clips the ground it wants to cartwheel like crazy if it catches just right.
That match was insane though! Your bot is deceptively effective. Incredibly well built and very combat effective. I think you did an excellent job with your build.
Ultimately, it could have gone either way. I think your bot clearly had a lot more control over the match than mine & Gaff caught some lucky breaks there. Epic Battle! I look forward to facing you in a future tournament. (maybe even a challenge match when I am done facing off against Craaig.) :D

Not really working for me either, I can do everything perfectly fine though... Mehh, Ill try again later :P Im on DSL BTW, Using That TWDR3 Motor orso? Something like that, It looks like the one on the pics. Also tried with a copal.
You also have the worst luck with AGOD. I'm thinking that there is some bad karma surrounding you and your computer. I think it would be best if you just try hax mode on a completely different computer... in a different country... maybe in a different time zone. Might be worth a shot. Lemme know if this helps.

Thanks. 30kg per Heavy Tread and 10kg per Light Tread seem rightly priced. This is assuming that the IRL rules prevent people from using static tread as armor of course.
If someone uses treads as armor for this tourney they will likely get voted off the island anyways.

But I believe he's only allowed 16 entrants
?
He's only allowed to have 16 entrants in the actual tournament. So really he can accept as many as he wants but only 16 will make it in.
That sounds about right. Edit: If I can't get my arse motivated... i am entering El Chupacabra. :P

Last match of round 2 is up!
That was seriously one of the best fights I have seen in a long time!

Yep, another one up
Nice one JD, just need to come second in your next match and you have a very good chance of going through Wow. I gotta say I got mega lucky in that match. As soon as I saw thrust get wedge locked with PWN's bot at the beginning I thought it was all over. :P

And surely you could sacrifice two axes to put blades on the wedge extenders to protect them? That would be wise young jedi. Yes?
.... actually now that I think of it (and my hangover is wearing off) Why so many axes to begin with? With such a wide reach from the tribars, do bots even get close to all those axes to begin with? I know everyone loves putting weapon racks up close to the chassis to protect it, but how come it is so uncommon for the weapon racks to be put forward more meeting with the outer circumference of the spinning weapons? I would figure that would maximize damage potential and still keep opponents at bay.
