Impressive, multiplayer! (Though I haven't tested it out)
Seems I have more of a reason to actually login. I'd probably of clocked up a whole lot of hours if lurking counted.

Why do I always get fastest Laps and still lose?
Because your car is quick but not fast.
WTF?

I've had cars in my custom setting tests that are quick, the the effects of tire wear effecting them far more then other cars, which remain consistent.
However these races Jonzu is doing are 3 lap races with negligible fuel loss and tire wear if any.

So me and Ash being overlapped isn't slow enough?

I'm not sure how the brackets work.  Do the winners advance to the next round, and the 2nd and 3rd places fight it out for the other spot with the winners?

I'd play know-it-all but I'm not actually sure this time around.

Here's how I see it-
1st Round: 1st skips the next round, 2nd and 3rd advance
2nd Round: Winner advances
3rd Round: Winner advances
4th Round: Winner wins

Yup, I do realize that server names like that won't mean anything.

Yeah, that's actually the first online map and mode I played! Twin Towers, Team OSOK.

Blimey, Round 5 didn't even last 10 seconds.

Nice matches, great to see CombatAnts rise again.

Played for about an hour.
Did well in first multiplayer match - One hit kill snipers. High K/D ratio (2<)
Then this:

Real competence going into a "high skill" server despite only having played for that hour.

People will one day realize the full power of wheel weapons...

They're called disc weapons.
Heh, anyway, ironically, I made it so you can mount components to the Thin Wheel, much like the face of a disc. Only with a middle attachment too. (So much like a DSL disc face)

@Reier: Well.. his homepage says "This page is about me and why everything I like is great. If you disagree with anything you find on this page, you are wrong. "
I guess they're not as ugly as most of these but still.
Oh, and I like that Cube.

How old was  he again? 10?
Eh, don't encourage him. He'd bring new meaning to the Heavy's smelling of soiled baby diapers.

So... I could consistently win against a +++++ bot with a beginner's bot, 4 wheels and Hydrogen batt traded for 3 wheels and the Alkaline battery?
With a dagger?
Or no weapon at all?

It's become culture, don't think it counts.

It's a pretty big difference if you think of it..

RA2 is a whole different level to Robot Rage.

Robot Rage gives you limited space and funds to build something with predetermined components.
RA2 gives you freedom of how you want everything to look - while everything boils down to the same components, you're not restricted to using something as the game says you should - Caster armor, or Bracket Wedge defence, for example. Even DAF from NW3's wheel spinner. You can do what you want.

Robot Rage gives you a simple goal - attack an opponent, be hit back, win.
RA2 is about robot combat too, yes, but it's far more complex, just from there being actual physics - the other things being TKOs and actual OOTAs (I count the elevator pit and rooftop edge as pits) You have to attack strategically, hitting weak spots, and avoiding the same happening to you.

This guy you mentioned -can- be the ACAMS of Robot Rage.. but in reality, that guy could be any shmuck who knows a few sentences of tricks.
