Couldn't you at least try creating something with nig-rig soft body physics using rigid body physics? I mean, it'd be best just to get a robot combat game out there so you can build up enough steam to get one with a proper soft-body physics engine done.
Something like GTA:IV's car crash deforming system (though done with a much better physics engine):

Hey, a 4-door automatic is practical!
Well when you consider the V6 engine, it's not all that practical. Besides, stick shifts get better mileage. By the way, I was told lately that it was a Cutlass Supreme, which doesn't make a great deal of sense considering the fact that they stopped making those in the late 90's. If that's true then I'm probably not going to like it that much. I mean, it's a 90's GM product (aka one of the reasons GM ended up on the verge of bankruptcy). I hate to sound like an ingrate, especially when you consider the facts that I'm getting this car for dirt cheap and the great condition it's in, but I'm going to start my search for a project car as soon as I can. BTW, I had the crazy idea of selling the olds, getting this, and using the extra money for a project car. Granted, it would probably never happen due to an overwhelming number of extenuating circumstances, but I still wish I could try it.

I've actually got an arrangement to get a 2001 Oldmobile (I've yet to been informed of what model it is but I hope it's at least an Aurora) from someone in the family. I've been told that it's in excellent shape as it was one of those car's babied by a mechanic owner. I don't really like Oldsmobiles or the idea of getting a four-door, or having it in automatic, or having a 6-cyl engine, or owning an American yacht in general but at this point I just needed a car.
I should be able to get it Friday.
Anyway I think I ought to keep the thread because upon getting some money together I'm gonna look for a small project car. I kinda just want to get working on something cheap and fast to use in place of the Oldsmanmobile.
