Nope, notepad and notepad++.
Its all working now.
Now i have a new problem :D
I made a decompiled gmf, in the folder where the original gmf is, like in the old tutorial.
Im using the dummy gmf compiler, but when i compile it, it comes up with an error.
All i've done in the decompiled gmf is get rid of the saw motors and the saws (im modding the lt tournament arena)
Any help?

Never mind, it was my dad who sorted it out for me (he should really get into this!)
Now im trying to get the angle right on the cameras, in phill's tutorial, what numbers do A and B represent (step 4 adding static cameras)
Duck is it alright if i get your IM or something, as theres still a few questions i have about arena modding.

Sorry to double post, but this is urgent.
Im trying to make my own arena (modded) but yeah i've hit a wall i cant work out.
Basically, im trying to modd the lutze tournament arena for my tournament, so as ducks guide said, i started with the py file.
I have it in the arenas folder, and i have edited it to try out some cameras.
But, when i go to the game (DSL) the arena doesnt appear in the arenas menu (i have saved the py, and it has an arena folder in mymodarenas)
Help please?
Does this only happen with DSL?

Buddy, I did 2+ YEARS of research before I built a robot.

6 YEARS!!!!!!!!

Lol

Listen, if you want to make a robot, then you need money.
I mean, 2 small AW motors cost me £39, which is expensive, but the motors are much better than others i had used in my AWs.
Overall my new AW, Little Patience cost me £70, which is rather expenisive.
Trust me, if your thinking of becoming a roboteer, then money shouldnt be a worry.

All the components from the cfz are still scattered everywhere in the Robot Arena 2 folder! (Or in my case Wild Robots 2)

General Support / Recompiling RA2.cfz

Hi All

I recently got help from Alphasim about how to create your own armour, i got as far as uncompiling the RA2.cfz file, adding my armour to the Armour Definitions.txt file, but then got stuck on recompiling RA2.cfz.
Alpha sugested a compiler for me (makeCFL) but that fails, i did ask him about it, but have had no reply back, so i was wondering if anyone knew how to recompile the RA2.cfz file.
Thanks

Wham

EDIT: He also sent me Lu-Tze's MakeCFL GUI, with these instructions:

To use the Lu-Tze's CFL compiler, select Compile as your desired action, add all of the files that where in the original ra2.cfz file, name the destination archive ra2.cfz (back up or move your original first!) and hit compile.

The link for the tool is here: https://gametechmods.com/rfshq/pafiledb/index.php?act=view&id=143

I have selected Compile, added all of the files from the original ra2.cfz, named the destination archive as ra2.cfz, and i hit compile and nothing happens.

I hope i've provided enough info on how you can help me with my problem.

Thanks

IMO we need no more replicas besides the house bots, and we still don't really neeeeeed them.

Then i hope Hunter isnt interupting anything (I think Click said he was making a replica of him)
