Mine will be submitted this evening.  I've had too much work to do and house fixing like crazy.  :P

CB, I really think you should extend the time to 2 weeks. Because 13 is not a good number for the creator of the best RA2 tournaments of all time.

Well his mission was to have a sweet condensed tourney that would not suck away all his energy in preparation for BBEANS.

I don't think he will be too heartbroken if he doesn't get a ton of entries.

There have been two actually well-built and well-skinned MLP bots that didn't win and one really crappy MLP bot that didn't win, but all of them had much stiffer competition than this.

Hmm.  I guess I missed those.  Could have been drunk... i dunno.

I voted for 7.  It looks pretty cool and I like the idea of anti-popup designs.

If the giraffe had more of an effort put into the paint job I would have voted for it.  It's not like it is hard to paint a bot.  Seriously, even a paintjob done with MS Paint would have been acceptable.

If it wins BOTM, it will be an ultimate underdog upset. But I don't think it really deserves it.  It is only a matter of time before someone makes a MLP bot in this fashion.

I want to build something... this week has been hectic so far though.  I will have to sketch things up for a massive build-fest on Saturday. :P

That's what you get for forsaking Meatloaf!!

I lol-ed.  XD

I lost my damn Meatloaf CD in the dash of a Hyundai... There was a small-ish crack just above the CD player that "felt" like the proper place to insert a CD in the dark.

If any of you buy a 2001 Black Hyundai Accent in the future, please check for me.  I wouldn't mind getting it back.

Entry sent.  Go team Face Spinner!

I was tempted to bite the bullet and build a flipper... but I was more in the mood to revise Hellbringer after 3 years.  I will note for potential builders that Hellbringer2 is invertible, but has one weak spot that it could land on and be counted out if it faces a flipper.  :D

Oh, and Pwn should totally make a hammer for this.

Just got back from Schiele, had a great time.

Kobalos went through four gearboxes in the last two of four fights, thinking I may start on something entirely new, as I've got a few fun ideas for ants/fairys.

Apollyon teamed up for some hockey, I only got about 7min of life out of my battery pack, which is fine for combat, not so much for 10min hockey matches. It ran great and drove very well,  so I can call it good for dragoncon and Motorama. I also did a few demo fights against Flatline, a 12lb wedge in the beetle arena. Hilarious fights to watch, not sure if anyone got video. Apollyon broke the arena.

The Hockey matches were 10 mins? wow... that is kinda mean.  Too bad they didn't split the 10 into separate 5 min periods to switch batteries if needed.

Sounds like you had a blast.  Good testing on the bots too.

So, you got your computer back?

Are you going to behave when this tourney starts?   :gawe:

In all seriousness though... Do you anticipate things going smoothly?  When you get all the bots situated in game, it might not be a bad idea to back them up on a pocket drive to put on your brothers compy in case of an emergency.  Just an idea.

Hmmh... I'm still thinking about the ban... I know, I'll put poll.

Seriously, dude. Lighten up. Considering a ban on someone because you didn't "agree" with their behavior even though they didn't break any rules of your contest is kinda arrogant.

Don't set yourself to "God mode" and bear in mind that the problem was a byproduct of everyone knowing who entered what song. Seriously, what were you expecting?

Live and learn.

/endthread.
