A low skill temp worker in Massachusetts earns $10 - $12 per hour, and I believe this is a 40-hour project. The AI is a mess, the old bots are on top, and thenewest ones are down at Team #80 or something like that. They need to be moved to the front, or else you have no single player mode. And speaking of, none of my bots are lw and few are mw, so you'd have to change their weight artificially.
You also have to go through the components menu and hide everything that should be hidden. And, you have to make each bot is DSL 3 compatible - it's an arduous task and I've only gotten through a small sliver of them.
And finally, you have to check that each component is balanced within the context of the game, damage levels and fragility arent quite in sync.

The effort involved isn't worth it. My game and folders are very messy and use confusing abbreviations. It works for me baecause I'm familiar with it and know where everyting is, but it's no good for an outsider.
You would need my entire game file just to use my bots because I make custom componets for each one. To get my game to a presentable format would require an incredible amont of work - if I were to hire someone to do all the work, they would probably charge about $500 for the full service. If anypne is volunteering to do it for free, I'm game, but everyone who's volunteered this far, backed out before long.

You're going out on a limb, considering she gave you a pretty strong reason to doubt she's into guys.
Did you ask if you could watch the two of them?

Because if you had all my robot, you could figure out the results of each match before they happen.

I think my favorite part was wehn the reporter was like "won't somebody think of the chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiildren??????"
Let's ignore the fact that the "rape" scenes occur in M-rated games, and it's be nearly impossible to make something like that in Pokemon X/Y (they showed a lot of footage of that game in the clip)

We've already got that kind of system in place, as 'conditional extensions' which are generally given week by week as long as a set quota of videos are posted.
I'm thinking of situations where you'd gladly finish but couldn't do so even if you forewent food and sleep

I think you should give people leeway if they're literally racing against the clock to finish their tournament. If someone clearly intends to finish their torunament, it's not fair to them or the entrants to serve up such a huge disincentive. Stuff happens IRL and the best laid plans go astray.
I propose an "Intent to Finish Clause." If your time limit expires, but you posted a video less than 72 hours ago, you're fine, and you may continue without penalty for as long as you post a fight every three days. Once you fill 50% of the defecit, that time limit gets expanded. The numbers can be adjusted by someone with more tourney experience but my intuition calls that a reasonable expectation.

delete them and start from scratch. Do one at a time, test it and make sure it works, then move on to the next.

Are you sure it hasn't actually changed? Because when that bmp gets scrunched down within the game, it's going to look like a plain grey block.
Just for a lark, change that bmp to something really noticeable like neon green, and confirm that nothing's changed.
If not, do a search in the entire components folder for any other texture with the same name. If there's another bmp called "diamondplate" anywhere in the Components folder, the game may have decided that that one takes precedence.

Lol, that battleshot is priceless! Which component actually makes it fly?
Doesn't fly intentionally, more out of incidence from centrifugal force/game physics. Its an out of control spinner. I just lucked out and snapped that at the right time.
Interesting. You should post it in the "Battleshots" thread (stickied in this forum section), it's worthy of more attention.

Revolution 3 vs Scrapper in S7 - St agro may have finished him off but not before revo broke his disc.
X-Terminator vs Diabolus was the same story, only more violent.

Fair enough. I thought of it because it isn't just different from real life, but the exact opposite. It's no coincidence that almost all the powerful spinners have two teeth, and the fearsome Hypnodisc and Professor Chaos had just one.

What's your stance on excessive spikes and teeth? In real life, you can't make a spinner more powerful just by welding more teeth on.

THAT'S the kind of lay that you'd trade your dignity for? To each their own, I guess.

I'm genuinely curious, what's with the sudden interest in Five Guys on GTM? I've been to one of their restaurants before, and the staff were really nice, and the price was decent, but I wouldn't call it life-changingly good.

@HB I'm not quite sure what you mean by "stay low." The only chassis change you can make on med or high quality is uniformly changing the height (the equivalent of adjusting the slider on Step. 2 of the chassis design screen)

Almost all DSL tournies have rules aboout realism in place. Bascially, no pshyics-defying designs and no excessive amounts of teeth or spikes.
