hold on let me clear this up. a mutibot is this. 2LW VS 1MW, 3LW VS 1HW, 2MW VS 1 HW
 that way you can gang up a HW with 3 LW and it makes for a great match. i saw some guys do this when i was hanging out with them and the LW WON!!!!! in the tourny you must have 1 LW or you are not in it.

i posted this at the ra2 fourms a while ago but seeing how dead all the tournys got i think its time to bring it up again. i dont have a way to record the fights yet but if you guys want to enter then here are the rules. you will make 3 bots the wight classes are up to you, that is mutibots are wellcome but not in anyway reqiured. the download link at the bottem of the post is the BASEPLATE that you must use, you may make the top plate whatever you like ie,  wedge or HS. the rules are this:
1. all stock RA2 parts inclueding AI parts.
2. no AAM
3. if you cant AI your bot i can do it BUT i will check all .py to ensure that it dose not do anything the stock AI cant do, ie force push
 
any Q just ask, this is an 8 person tourny.

Game Development / Ideas for new Robot Combat Game

the mod i will be making for RA2 will be a ranged combat type game but you will still be able to maley if you want and i must say its not a bad idea if i can do everything i want to it. see the battlefield arena in Mad and Cudas mods and tweaks. i will also post updates and things on the combat mod. BTW if any one here can lend a hand with the mod i would be happy to send stuff your way. as for the new game. it think that RA2 was a good base of ideas to work off of. however it needs to be taken to the next lvl. ie, mod up to 5 lvls of a frame not just the top and bottom plates. weps could inculd things that can be made from parts in to different weapons. kinda like we can do now with the Hammer that has a rear mounting point. i also think it would be cool to improve the season mode of the game and maby make the game involve money to be won in one tourny and another tourny that reqires that you use a bot that was made from bought parts. that is to say that some of the componets will have to be bought for each bot. not just once for a team or the whole game but for each bot you use it on. these are just some ideas i had and sry for the bump so dont say a dern thing RA2lover.lol

ya but they are never in the same place twice. ie they move based on a randome number generater that put a new 1 down as soon as the other is hit. there are only 2 and they are confind to a certin area. so dont worry about "bouning" all over the place.

other then the fact that no motor save a 426 HEMI has the power to move this thing its not bad. just the inertia thing you said. ill try to make a HW ver but it cant get much better then what you have.

this topic will be filled with all the mods that Madiba and i come up with. sometime this week the battlefield arena will be relased. it has a few things you havnt seen yet. ie a stream with a current, hidden landmines, an airstrike and pillboxs that shoot your enemy if they are on your side. pics will be up tomarrow.:mrgreen:

did you ever see my drumzilla if not here it is. had to rise the hitpoints on all the spikes cause they fell off in like 30 sec. the last one is a SHW ver of yours but a little different

awsome bots man. i made a 10wd when i learned how to stack but i made it a SHW so i didnt post it. that and i had to aam some stuff to most people could stak but you guys would have known i didnt. that thing could 1 hit kill over half the starcore3 HWs

ok the forums are done so im posting here. this is RAM 2.1. plistic 2 batts 4 HP ztecks with dubole spikes. what can be made better. and how do i stop the glitch that messes up the drive motors and puts 1 of them 90deg off from the other?
