I suspect if/when there's another bbeans, it won't be until after DSL3.0 comes out and will probably be the start of that generations set of tournaments.

The Foundry Still has a few things to be tweaked, but it works very well.

I entered a bit ago. My pick was essentially "What's the best bot I have that can also reliably beat the best flail shell spinner I can come up with?"

3 bots to show. In honor of the Obongo thread, and the favorite group of people of the person the robot is name for, I present to you Beck: And from my random LW testing, this way blows A Foul Wind: From the scrap bin comes a robot that's been showcased before, now released for your enjoyment. Here is Conceptual Chaos: https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/Conceptual Chaos.rarConceptual Chaos is built somewhat unrealistically due to the limitations of RA2. CC could be built in the real world with some minor tweaks to account for the non-RA2ness of reality.

They've all got pros and cons. ReActive's damn good, but needs specialized rammer AI to work properly, Power Mad's destructive but has issues with some shell spinners, the flail shell spinner's really nasty but havoks enough to make me nervous, WASP is nasty if it stays in the arena, 7YI works well for reasons I can't explain, and Pretty Hate Machine(the HS) hits very hard and is just overall fairly competitive.

top left also Mike, please explain to me how the one bot works?
You'll have to be a bit more specific than "the one"

It was an experiment back when I did the giant tournament of my AI'd bots, and it did shockingly well. That alone made me give it some consideration.

GAH you hacked my computer! I just made a secret bot that's definitely not my BOTM entry that uses that same concept! (Although admittedly applied for a different purpose.)
Knowing how my *secret bot* works... that one looks really scary. Especially considering it's a LW and it can do over 2500 damage
Now that BOTM's posted, I see what you mean. ReActive doesn't get the flipping action all that much since it's a bit slower, but it's managed to toss bots around fairly well on occasion.

Anyone know of other 'bots with a similar active weaponized plow? I doubt this is the first and want to look at what else has been done with them.

Haven't made a final decision, but the odds aren't bad.

The 2500 is in no small part due to the opponent, but the way it takes hits, and can carry the opponents really are what makes it special. I'm very happy with the result and plan on spending a little time fine tuning things. As is, it trashed Power Mad, Closer, Downward Spiral, Fisticuffs, Seven Year Itch, and every other bot I tested it on.
With a properly tuned AI, there's a good chance that once it's under a bot, it could stay there and slowly "gut rip" them with the flexible weapons.

Nope. Planning to optimize the formula that worked. Just as much power, better use of weight/materials.

I'd say my run at BBots was somewhat crazy
Match 1: Vs. Death Fe Won via KO(iirc)
Match 2: Vs. E-6 Won via Judges Decision
Match 3: Vs. eXecutor Loss via countout(stuck on piece of myself)
Match 4: Vs. X-Revolution Won via judges decision
Right side wheel split in half, left side failed. Likely due to damage from match 3
Match 5: Vs. Bob 2 Won via judges decision Fought match with only right side drive, won via control and aggression.
Match 6: Vs. Senioritis Won via tapout/ko(don't recall) Still 1wd, slammed into opponent until they fell apart.
Match 7: Loss via OOTA
I haven't found video for the matches without youtube links.

More bot packs will happen whenever I feel like it. Update to the flamethrower bot- If I could get an AI that'd have it use the flamethrower till the opponents chassis is toast, then switch to thwack mode, it'd be very competitive.
