yo the both of you (ava and orc) should just ****ing chill
first off avalanche, calm down, ik you got kicked from the "super-secret" AHOL discord...so did I. I get your intentions but you don't have to take it to a whole new level though orc...avalanche is just being himself. you just have to deal with it
Perfectly chilled, thank you FBI. I'm looking forward to this tourney and was going to comment about the teams anyway. Just so happened Ava was adding unneeded comments. :P That's all I'm going to say about it as we should get back on topic out of respect for Gulden and everyone else. If you chaps wish to talk about things elsewhere, then we can do that so we don't annoy everyone. Anyway, yes FBI, build a robot and join Team Light. We need more people on our side!

Team Light has their work cut out for them: Bad Dreams, Flipster and Koros.
And I have to (as I will enter, if only to exact vengeance upon Badger) join the same team as TR and TheOrcCorp.
This is going to ****ing suck.
As for what robot i'll build, here's a hint: No one is forcing you to join anybody. If your hatred for us is that strong, either grow up and put it aside/get over it or don't join at all. Simple. In any case, I agree with Ava's point, lots of mean robots on the other side...especially Koros, it's pretty damn powerful! Looking forward to progression of this though!

Vulkan EVO is a great next step for the Vulkan series! Can't wait to see it in action!

Great robots, Jackal is such an interesting machine, like I said on Discord it reminds me of a Meat Grinder...not seen a bot like that really!
Also, what drugs/motors did you give Deathzone? Possibly the most powerful spinner I've seen on RA2/DSL!

aw man that looks sick as ****
Thank you! So I've been working on a 3rd version of my crocodile bot. First version was Crocognaws (seen in Doot's current tournament, RoboGames) then I made a 2nd Gnaws which I wasn't happy with...now here we have Gnaws 3! Basically a giant clamp with a thwacking tail feature used in both previous versions of Gnaws! Hope you like it!

I stand by what I said in that this is one of my favourite robots that I've seen someone build on RA2/DSL etc ever! It's so creative and cool, I'm a massive fan of the eyes/clamping face and I hope to see this in action soon!

I dunno what to say. Curly Wurly actually ****ing did it. Bad luck to Orc in a fight that he really should have won, his bot was way superior, but my ridiculous luck somehow struck again. I'm facing Doodle next up. Should be an interesting fight.
Was a good match: I told you to have more faith in your robot!

Hit'N'Miss looks fantastic, Drugged Up Stepsister is cool looking (Wonder why you built it? ) and the new hammer for FNITC looks much better! You are a better builder than what you think bud!

That didn't go how I expected it to go. I don't think Mutant Duck will survive against Shrek or Billet, though.
Well done Kurt! Was a good battle. We'll have to have a grudge match sometime! (Just remind me to put more batteries in )

Now that is an epic layout right there! The hype has begun!

Anyone can host this (considering that they finished previous tournament, and know how to host one) (Image removed from quote.)
Now this is a neat idea! I'd take part in this in a heartbeat!

Holy moly, that's pretty unique: would love to see something like this entered into a tournament!

I'm going to throw my hat into the ring and enter the DSL2.2 IRL representing Sweden <3 Would pick Ireland but it seems like a highly claimed country.
If you're a native member of Ireland you get priority, remember.
This, Orc isn't native.
Hey Arcane, if you want Ireland, go ahead! I'm not a native, just am part Irish through family and stuff.

I'll enter DSL-IRL for Ireland!

Holy cow, that is an awesome bot! Love the two designs!

Can we just disqualify the two of them?
Funny, I was thinking the same for you for your rudeness towards the tournament host/other participants in the tournament. Anyhoo. Surprised that Hornhead won, was close (and boring) and I'm kinda sad that Minmi didn't win! One more hit and my bot would be out. I've said before that Hornhead isn't good and I'm watching the AWs closely to learn from them so I can improve my build quality for the small bots. Knock me all you want for a bad bot but don't knock me for wanting to improve.

Had this been any other arena I'd have won that fight. Neon, you got lucky, and you know it: regardless, I wish you the best for the tournament. Between this and the config setup (which has been discussed in the discord already so let's not discuss it here) I'm starting to dislike how this tournament's headed: hopefully Fighter Mk. II can resolve my fears a bit.
I don't like this arena. It heavily neuters flippers by preventing them from getting OOTA's because they will likely fling the opponent off the outside wall and back in or onto the wall where they can drive off. That said, it also doesn't stop paladin-levels of power from being used to completely dominate the fight. Bruiser Whale (or whatever it's called) did the same thing to Kurt's hammer and just obliterated it by flipping it over and over without giving it a chance to fight back.
It really just hassles the fair flippers while leaving OP flippers OP: sure you can try and outwedge them but that just means it becomes a skirt-hinge wedge-fest, something that the forum has an issue with on robots like Raus. It's just not good for the meta.
Wait, so you're telling me that you have foresaw every other alternative reality where your fight took place in a different arena and you won each one?! WOW! You can't say for sure that you'd win in any other arena. ANYTHING can happen in these battles as we have seen already. Get over yourself. Anyway... Well played to Badnik, that first flick I got onto your robot was pretty cool...like throwing a pancake! Your robot is great and I can't wait to see it in action again. There were some fantastic battles here: OLHR vs Cruiser Whale was probably my favourite! I also had doubts about Dreaming of Screaming but it did pretty well! Hey door just wanted to thank you again for even running this excruciatingly long tourney, let alone in such a timely manner. You da bomb.
Agreed, it's a lot of hard work and it is showing. Keep it up Doot!
