Now that does look cool. It must be the burst-enhanced pistons doing it, although my MW Insectoid thing never had that problem. Maybe a 60cm piston would be better, or try to mount them on the secret AP as well, and leave the axle alone. Not sure about the pointy tips, spike strips and samurai swords, though. I might try to change them all to irons, just to cause a little bit more damage to opponents whilst protecting the poking rack.

Looks like a pretty tough design, I reckon. Only glaring weak point I can see is the side panel between the discs. It's only got something like 1800HP, if I remember rightly (I probably don't), so a good hit to that could take the entire weapon system off. I can see some kind of hammer doing reasonably well against it, personally, but it should do its job very well aside from that.

I quite enjoyed seeing Swarm working as a team there. And seeing the tails getting some action on a couple of occasions. =) Not really sure why there was the havok in the second match, though, maybe it was one of his slimbodies. Badnik next, though, I think I've got a decent chance of winning at least on points. Should be an interesting fight, though, seeing how resilient 027 proved. Good luck, Badnik.

Actually, the angle is pretty much perfect. Although he really needs a second black in there, one black is underpowering it by more than half. Stacking them together is pretty simple, you just need a steady hand if you're using a touchpad (like me), you could afford to lose four razors and the extenders holding them on to get that second black.

Try sticking some ramplates on the front for some protection against HS. You ideally want a pair of ramplates over the side edges of the chassis, as HS hit those most often. You should be able to get 4 on with the weight you have left.

What I might do is try to get the DDT's right in by the SnapperII's, by axle loading the axles out of the way first. That'll allow you to make the chassis more compact, lose the razors on the wedges, and perhaps add a wamming rack or something, like my Parabolic Trajectory series of bots. You'll want to make sure the bot doesn't tip over when an opponent hits the wamming rack, though.

Rebuilt Stampede because I somehow deleted it. Looks much cleaner imo, and Rust Monster, a lightweight flipper.
Nice remake of Rhino there, Scrap- and is Rust Monster a DSL rebuild of Jack's old Noob Wars 3 entry? I remember pitting the original 
You will notice the Jack Daniels emblem on the side.  They do look nice, though. Rhino could do with looking a bit more sturdy, and Rust Monster appears to be some kind of remote controled pancake tossing device.

Why am I in such a building mood now?  248.9, Nifty, DSA. I planned it out on paper earlier, no idea if it works or not. Looked better on the paper, though, that iron looks a bit pointless. Probably invertible, I just wanted a HS/Rammer hybrid that didn't swipe the opponent out of the way of the ramming rack.

That's probably a better setup than mine. I'd turn the RAD's round so the wheels weren't sticking out so much. I believe the plan was to have one up and one down, though.

If we are talking about two different bots, then yes... Considering JoeBlo built it and you're only allowed one entry every month.
I was talking about when J won it with a bot that actually looked like a giraffe. Vaguely. Everyone else entered a generic HS, JoeBlo did that pink-powered flipper, which not too many people voted for because it used pinks, so the giraffe won.

Looks like a pretty good build, though, nothing's really sticking out much. I'm guessing you used vertical 20cms rather than horizontal ones. What I might do, though, is try and get the motors a bit more protected, they fell off quite a lot when I was testing my design.

Yep. Thank god the unbalanced RADs don't affect driving at all. Just tested it, though, and it turns out the Z-Teks get taken off a bit too often for my liking. And then it havoks. So I'll maybe drop to razors and get a plow on or something.
