I just created my own version of Catalyst, and yes, Stiletto 6 owns it 100% of the time (but not without taking a few hits to the chassis), although weapon position and direction might have something to do with it.

Very nice, I like the bottom armor, and in my opinion, HS don't really need to be fast.
...beat Stiletto 4 eh? I wonder how well the design would do against Stiletto 6...

Makes me want to build a 4WD NPC MW SnS. You mean something like this? And that looks fearsome, just follow their advice and it would be perfect.

My HS did beat VM Worker ! Not big surprise! It is still a bit unstable, which is why I think Pwn is bluffing, because some of his bots look like they can take advantage of my SnS's instability frequently. I don't know what to choose; I'm up against some tough competition in the early rounds already.

Personally, I think we are on equal levels sometimes when it comes to DSL (although I'm still having trouble beating that goddamn Paper Cut 4), but yeah, I should put better wheels on the shell spinner (I'm thinking large ant wheels).

Well I knew you would somehow take advantage of the fact that I turned to you to AI my bots, but at least I'm still content that you didn't execute your designs as efficiently as mine. :P also: Ounce - the only thing that will stop the Pwnator Express Train lol

Looks cool! Thanks!
I thought Slimbody motors were sin? Not on anything below a MW (although Slimbodies with Hypnos is probably the bare minimum on a MW).
On the HW... does the top sheet prevent invertability? No it doesn't.
I like them very much. Thanks again!
and Naryar, if you mean to ask if these going into NAR AI v2.3, then sure, I can send them to you.

Wow it's been a while since I posted hereRemade my V-Pokers: Stiletto (now in its 6th version): 1mm titanium, and everything else is visible. Rapier: NPC fasts, 5mm plastic, 3 ants, small VDMA piston. Gave it a better wedge and extender setup, and now stands up better to popups and other wedges, but still has that unprotected chassis. Broadsword: 5mm titanium, innards and external armor setup are visible. Has a total of 19 large beater bars, 8 razors and iron spikes, and 2 30kg Sais, all mounted on 2 hex plates on a VDMA piston (long2). More weaponry than the NAR AI 2 version, and like the revised Rapier, stands more of a chance against gut-rippers. Like always, is very effective against shell spinners.

The Ounce: The HS does look like one of the gayest deadliest bots in all the tournament. Thanks................homophobe. The first rammer isn't as efficient as a normal V-setup. well I didn't want to make it a blatant Gearhead clone, but at least mine doesn't lose half of its drive 20 seconds into a match against a SnS :P. The VS/rammer hybrid is kinda weird. Well I wanted to make something like a LW Kepher (except without a servo of course), and it actually does rather well in combat. and the trapper is yet another clone that will probably fair well. Thanks, but you ripped me off first :P.

You cloned my bot, so what?
I'm assuming the extenders are more protected than on mine?

Seems like a mini Hazcon :D
Maybe you can use the remaining 2 kilos to change the plastic wedge skirt to AL; it will make it stronger and probably help the wedge.

I remember seeing this while I was lurking: SB:Lay off S32, he is a noob And you're the Simon Cowell of bot building.
It's funny 'cause it's true (the second part). :P

Better, now Pwnator has to do the same for Monochrome. :P
Turn your razors so the flat side is facing upwards and place them closer together.

I've had a few bots with abridged scientific species names, the Bullet Ant series and my stock piston rammer with maces to name a few.
Anyway, nice bot Larrain!

If only I hadn't BFE'd ReFraction during the signup period HNM 4, TIB 4, Split Second, and SnSnSnSnS 2 all look really good and are my top 4 picks for this tourney.

3 blacks, 10 razors, 2 battle axes and 2 iron spikes for front armor. Biohazard-style popup. I was trying not to give it a setup similar to R4's, but I failed. It's wedges are okay as well as its fighting capabilities. It's rather weak against HS, but I think I can fix that with higher reaching front armor. It probably should go in JD's inspiration thread, but I haven't posted here in a while. Besides it might have already been done before. And no Virus Bomb, the 36 SnS doesn't havok... at least very often.

You're obviously retarded.
Says the person whose posts have been declining in quality as of recent. Though he has said before that he has Asperger's syndrome, so you're kinda right.

Maybe to help the wedge, replace the skirt with a small wedge on 2 flipper segments; same weight for strangely more wedginess.
