Head-to-head and against most other spinners, I think mine is better. But, as you pointed out Pwn, T-rex like stubby arms make battling wedges a chore.
Childsplay also has a longer battery life, if I'm not mistaken.

When in irons and razors fail you, use maces. Spike strips don't deal enough damage to be worth the 14kg investment. Also, blue snappers make pretty terrible wedges, so try to expand the front of the chassis a bit to get DDT's or use green snappers and keep the chassis as-is.
Great looking first design, though. EDIT: 1500 posts, yaaaaaay! I have now equaled in two plus years what JoeBlo does over a weekend.

Not long, actually. I knew you could mount skirt hinges in a similar way in DSL (see the most recent MW popup for an example), so I floated the anchor out and got that almost immediately. Come to think of it, that stack would come in handy for quite a few bots I've tried to build in the past.

New stuff yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. A (cubic) LW flipper. Probably won't use it for CC4, but I'm pretty sure this is the smallest possible chassis in Clash Cubes - just large enough to fit an ant. 5 ants, I think Ti 3. Hinges are acting as stabilizers. Even with their collision mesh, they're useless as underbelly armour: And a hammer, simply because me > Scrap (psssshhh... I wish >.>). 12 ants, plastic 5:

That probably wouldn't scare him much. Telling him that Scrap would move in with him on the other hand is terrifying. Geez, I have nightmares just thinking about it...

In order to have an effective gut-ripper, you NEED 4 wheel drive. You have about 90 kg, which is more than enough to add two more wheels, and if your previous version is an indication another black battery as well.

d00d, nice finds. Yeah, those were my first showcased bots at the RA2 forums. I thought I was pretty good too :3

If you want good bots, right under the Gametechmods banner, there is a link that says "bot exchange." There you will find all of the bots that are available for download for player use. Make sure you only download from the leftmost column as anything from the DSL section will crash your game.
The best bots that are there are built by Pwnator and Virus Bomb, so if impressing your friends is what you want, go for those.
Hope this helps :)

Generally, we don't really do bot packs for the players use. We're all about building your own machines here, not using anybody else's.
We do, however, have AI packs with harder competition once you have increased your building skill. I'm not sure that that helps you much though.
As for mods, DSL 2.1 is the largest one out there and is pretty much as "official" as a community mod can get. Before downloading it though, make yourself a couple of copies of RA2. A lot of us have 5-10 different versions for all the different AI packs and stuff. You'll also find tons of custom components in the "downloads" section here. I'd steer clear of them, as they are frowned on for competitive building, and they make the game much too easy much too quickly.

I've always loved the Jack Links Messing With Sasquatch campaign. Especially this one:
And its (funnier) interwebz only counterpart:

SOOOO CLOSE
(Image removed from quote.)
It was going to be my re-build of Ninja for Inf's pack, but I'm about 2 kgs off...
It has DSA, but I don't really want to shed the weight by going to plastic.
HAHA! TAKE THIS WEIGHT LIMIT!! Also, take a look at the sweet positioning of the baseplate anchor. It even has DSA :D

For future reference, any components, including razors, do more damage with the more faces that come into contact with the other bot.
So, if you put the razors with two faces hitting the other bot, they will do more damage.
This is a myth IMO. Pyscolone suggested this as a theory, and it got accepted as gospel somewhere along the line. As for your question about damage, Inplabth nailed it. The faster a component is moving, the more damage it will do (basic kinetic energy principles). As a result, in order to do adequate damage the razors on a popup have to be in motion when they come in contact with an opponent (why do you think R4 has ears?). If you look at how your bot is designed, the razors start through the wedge, so they aren't impacting the opponents chassis at all, just flipping it. To fix it, just start the arc of the swing lower.
