EDIT: Moved the first post here so I can use the first part to do tourney related lists to keep track of stuff! Anyway.... Welcome everybody, to Orc's Wars! I was inspired by DemonOfTomorrow's tourneys and A Heap of Games' Banter Wars to make my own tourney on this scale! I hosted a smaller one called Orc's Tourney beforehand which I felt went quite well so decided to try and take it up a notch! Orc's Wars will be similar to Robot Wars: 128 robots, 16 heats, 1 winner and several side events. For now though, I have around 173 robots...so let's do some qualifiers! The qualifiers will be run in three days. Day 1 and Day 2 will have 43 robots progress through to the main series, while Day 3 will have 42. Here are the highlights from Day 1 as well as the Wildcard Battle to determine who got the 43rd entry slot! Looking cool so far. Any of mine in this?
There is not unforunately! Robots featured have been built by Doot, Doodlez, Drago, Evil Toaster, Fox, Golden Spartan, Gulden, Hoppin, Jamie, JDG, Mattiator, MrBK, Mystic, Neon, myself, Primeval, Rattus, Roboteer, Tashic, TGM, Thyrus and KillerTurtle!  Side events may be needing some bots so I'll let people interested on here about that soon after qualifiers. :)

Radio/Video with that serious gyro dancing. Few surprises but personally I thought Crocognaws had done enough to win.
I believe Tamil Kings did more....I am happy with how well Crocognaws performed in this battle though!

Apparently disinterest is a virtue that people do not seem to realise or some sh**.
If I don't want to do a BotM, I do not want to do a BotM. I'm speaking out against this one simply because this is something that could have been good going to sh** because of a stupid ruling that no one but the sh**posters want.
Besides, we had a household item BOTM a month or so ago...if you wanted to make a wheelchair bot (maybe you did, I can't remember.) then you should have made it then. It's just frustrating.

You wanted an utterly garbage BOTM theme...is that so one of you guys could actually win it finally with a joke entry like all the "memey" entries you've entered in the past? They're really not a joke anymore...I mean c'mon, it's meant to be on the front page! It's what people see when they visit GTM. Hoppin's entry was great and creative. RedAce just won the last BOTM and that was good! Heck, Thracker won with Mean Bean Drilling Machine or something months ago and that was a MEME done right! So many people have voiced their discontent with this theme because it's just silly. Surely you can respect that and make it a theme that everyone can take part in and not just you lot who want to seemingly indulge in your fetishes or whatever. The website isn't just about you. :P

6 isn't bad but it is quite messy...
