return that rx and buy a hobbyking orange rx. that rx holds the last command sent to it so it will continue to output the same command to the esc so even if the esc failsafes on loss of signal it will continue to get a signal.
you also overpaid for everything if you bought from a hobby shop.

When I said "rarely", I didn't mean this "frequently".
SKBT said this:
I was talking to MikeNCR on FB and then this idea happened. This is just a quick sketchup sketch to get the idea out.

I'm thinking 30lb pneumatic front hinged launcher.
HF drill drive 3" wheels, low pressure, maybe 2.5" bore ram cause I have one lying around.
An hour after he said it, I saw it and decided to actually make it - I'm gonna finally show it off because, why not?

Some questions:
1. What do you want to see more of? 2. Why don't you comment much? (ignore if you do). 3. Where do you spend most of your time on the forum? 4. Do you watch tournament videos that don't feature your own bot? 5. Why don't you enter BOTM? 6. How many AI packs do you have? 7. Do you play stock, DSL or both? 8. What have you given to the community?
1. more mature members who build 2. if i have something important to say i say it. otherwise i see no point in saying something like "great bot" or "looks cool" 3. dsl showcase and real robotics 4. not usually because i don't have time. if a bunch of people are talking about how awesome a match was, i will watch it 5. if i have a "good" idea i enter. otherwise i don't. 6. 2 (starcore 3 and DSL 2.1) 7. i dsl most of the time. 8. i'm not really sure what counts as a contribution but i have a fairly active dsl showcase and provide insight about real robotics and moderate the section.

wait wait wait, didn't the guy who made D12 also make BobSaget, a legit ant?
He bought a couple of real ants. He doesn't understand how to fix them though. Bob Saget is so poorly maintained. It's more duck tape than robot.

d12 is a ****ing joke. its a biohazard toy with more duck tape than biohazard toy. the guy who "built" (if you can even call what he did building) d12 knows literally nothing about robots besides his toy beats them because he has the lower wedge and spinners tend to choke on the duck tape used to hold the thing together. also it puts up a really boring fight and just isn't fun to watch.
The reason they choke is because of the ridiculous RPM speeds most people run these days. Most people don't take it seriously, and get mad when it kicks their ass. Oddly, D12 sounds like Diotoir.
ok aaron. whatever you say.

Yes, but the OS takes up 1 or 2 gigs, and quite a lot is used by AV programs, Internet Browsers and other background programs. If I reduced my PC to 4 gigs, I wouldn't be able to do quite a lot of the things I do actually do on my PC.
Of course, if you have integrated graphics you're gonna have a bad time no matter what.
i'm chilling at about 1.6g with firefox, pandora and a java editor running on win7x64. the only time i ever really go above 2.5g is when i run something like autodesk inventor and am working on a large assembly.
