No, the last 3 times I was in a challenge, which was a long time ago, I posted all my bots prior.

I won 1, and the other 2 the other guy forfeited.

Warfare is deception.....  But this isn't war, this is more like taking a baby's lollipop.

(Image removed from quote.)

Vlad, the Dragon - 5mm Titanium, 14 ants IIRC, npc fasts, 2 judge bursts. Yes, they are ghey, but I had no other choice for a flat bot.

Yes, it is obviously IRL. This one will go for Realism ai.

Not skinned yet.
Looks pretty awesome, Nary- is this the kind of robot I'll expect to see come against me?
...Nope. Why would I post it, for you to try and take advantage of the bot type ?
Hey if GF93 wants to challenge me in Standard DSL HW, I don't care I will showcase my bot.  He can go ahead and counter it if he wants.

Come on Naryar what happened to all that talk about Manliness?

You need to put 350kg of weapons into a Heavyweight FS if you want it to be remotely durable.  80kg of weapons are barely enough for a Lightweight.

You can't dump hundreds of kg into decos and expect it to still perform well in combat.

Wait it takes 3 periods to learn that sex and masturbation is a sin punishable by eternal torture and hellfire?

instead of control boards, you could have just throw in batteries or something.

That looks really nice. The mako wedges obviously aren't ideal at the speed the bot will travel at though.
Why?  It's NPC Normal on a SHW....  It's even slower than Mako.

Well, chassis raised like that won't have attachment points beside the 4 legs.  If you successfully make that chassis you would still need to hack the components in.

Here's a question: If I edit a chassis in the .bot file, can I do just about any shape I want or will it just crash if I go too mad?

I think if you do it right you can make crazy shapes, but one missing number/badly written line and you risk corrupting the whole bot file.
You can avoid that by keeping the bot file on notepad++ and undo your mistake if you crash the game.

Use RPG Maker so you can save yourself the pain of drawing graphics.

oh you send it in for repair?

Yeah I guess they are gone for good........  Tech guys will not recover files for you from a defective machine, it's just too much work.  They just gonna replace defective parts and format your machine, then tell you you lose all your files.

The truth is, if you know anything about forensic, you know that files really don't disappear that easily....

Yeah, I thought about that. They managed to save the "desktop" and "My Documents" folders but it's not much
That sounds about right.  They back up the 2 things that are considered high priority to a casual user and nuke the rest.

Not that they couldn't have recover your RA2 folder in program file, they just don't see the point of recovering your program file folder given they gonna nuke the machine and wipe the registry anyway.  Plus most casual users won't know what to do with the stuff inside.

Try replacing the 2 angled aluminum skirt with overkilled blade to balance out the visual......  You can probably get the weight by cutting chassis armor and those steel extenders.

If you want longer front stabilizer, then you want to start with a chassis as far back as possible on the design screen.

Replace that 80 titanium extender with DSL Bars.  it cost less and have more HP.

I don't recommend using the half sheet to connect the dual perm.  That flipper segment in the center will be gone in 2 seconds because things tend to attack center, like a lot.  Use a multi extender on the chassis with some elevation to avoid extenders getting hit.

Stack battery is a big no no in DSL......

You know you can just mount the 2 skirts on the 2 sides of the half sheet, instead of the massive extender work you got there.

737
Humm I just clone it and it doesn't go unstable......  actually it spins mad slow.

738
i inverted it in the testing zone and it doesn't seem to selfright.

Is it still wired to at least attempt to self right? For if it gets knocked into the right position and all the planets are aligned just so.

Also Urjak's entry looks way too fragile

just wait till you see it's spinning speed
Wait, astro on a giant SnS like that spins FAST you said?  Must be using instability drive.....

In my experience skirt hinge VS tends to "wobble" a lot more than I would like.

But yeah, new HW VSs are clocking in at 300+ kg weapons nowadays.  The whole 180kg thing are so 3 years ago.

It's the third time you get in trouble for posting sh** in showases... if you do it again you will be permanently banned from the showcases !

Showcases are not playground... it's time you learn the difference !
Calm down, calm down. Face it, i'm 10. I am young, so it's kinda right for me to act like an a**hole.

Back in my day, if you were a ten year old and acted like that, you'd be beaten until you knew better than to be a complete prick. He sounds like he's proud of the fact that he's a dickhead.
LOL LET"S ALL E-BEAT THIS KID TO SHOW HIM IT"S NOT ALRIGHT!!!!

Oh wait it's the internet and you can't really do sh** to the person on the other end.
