Skirt hinge bursting is the equivelant of Servo enhancing, since a skirt hinge is just a servo with no torque or something. Servo hancing is illegal, thus skirt hinge bursting should be illegal too.

Stock Showcases / Re: (CCSB) Courthousedocs Crappy Stock Bots

Flails only earn ghey points in DSL. In Stock, they kinda suck. But they can sometimes work, depending on the opponent you get, S32's Irony Punctuated in Annihilator is an example.

N-12 wheels, though, are a pretty terrible choice. They look cool, and that's about it. Shiny Hubs are a much better choice, they give you pretty much the same speed and HP for almost half the weight. You can also discard the pinks and one Nifty, a single Nifty will easily power two HPZ's for three minutes. If you shrink the chassis up around the remaining components, that will net you a total of approximately 80-90 kilos, which would be enough to add a bunch more weaponry, or maybe something in the way of defense.

On the floor of my dad's living room, in a house which was midway through being renovated. No skirting boards, no carpet, no wallpaper, and none of the power sockets were screwed in. Also none of the doors fit properly, so it was absurdly draughty.

You have to PM your entry to him, rather than posting it in the thread.

Back on topic anyways, I just need to improve my LW and build my MW.

Will attempt to build both drunk. Will be fun.

I think you should enter the bots you build when you are drunk, regardless of combat effectiveness. =D Even if they suck, it will be very funny to watch.

Forgot to say I will ask for minimum building skill and combat efficiency.
...you mean maximum right?

I don't think so. He means there will be a benchmark building skill that you must reach to be eligible, I think.

And it sounds like a pretty good idea, in my view, I might give this a try, see if I can make something out of it.

and have the beater bars on the inside ap

And then attach the razors perpendicularly to the beater bars ? I see what you mean. I'll try and look how to improve that weapon setup.

I thought just swap the Beater & Razor with the lone Razor on each hexplate. It'll give a flatter area of attack, instead of the two razors you're getting now, and you could intersect the razors if you need to with the proper rotation.

You don't really want to be showcasing your entry here. Opponents could then craft their bot to beat it. It's safer to showcase it in your showcase, or not showcase it at all.

I will also challenge myself by entering an IRL bot in a non-IRL tourney where do i submit my entry
Upload your bot to the bot exchange, then PM a link to it to the tournament host (Conraaa, in this instance).

joeblo is watched 0_0 O_O

Nary watched him for a stupid reason...

"Attempting to persuade me that the rep system makes no sense by downrating me for a silly reason.   +50"

Well, he gave me a repdown for a stupid reason.
this is huh, lel.
Anyways so the AC unit in my house stopped working yesterday. Today is Oklahoma's hottest day on record for the summer. (105 degrees) and inside it feels like 200  degrees. That and my dad's too much of a cheap bastard to buy more than 2 electrical fans. (ones in my sister's room and the other's in my dad's) And I literally feel like I'm melting.

fack this
bich it was 107 F here in wisconsin

74F in Scotland yesterday. Which was hot. Especially since the melting point of a Scotsman is only 81F.

Very, very nice indeed. That version should be a LOT more like what we saw in Robot Wars than the one currently in DSL. I'm also assuming it's no longer as havok-prone as it once was, thanks to the slower motor?

Looking pretty sweet there. Vulture on the right looks like it could play football quite effectively in DSL, if the ball wasn't so enormous.

736
Pretty damn nice. If anything, the back part seems a little big, and the wheels seem a little small.

Looks nice and sleek. Maybe Large DS Teeth might work better than cutting teeth on the back, you could try Lightning Teeth or LDS Teeth instead of Beaters on the front if you need the weight.

Chatterbox / Re: Reputation Law Discussion Thread

I say we should just remove it.

I agree. (Those who placed bets, you may now collect your winnings.) If we continue with a rep system, there's always going to be some degree of imbalance, with people rating people up or down for things other people deem to be completely trivial. And even if we do go down the rep admin road, there will inevitably be people who will go "why did you accept his rep and not mine", et cetera. And if we exclude certain groups, such as Roboteers (although plazmic inferno being able to give rep is a bit of a wierd one, in my view), there will always be one or two people who will abuse the system in the eyes of others, until we get the the stage where only three or so people are actually able to give rep, and the whole thing becomes either an corrupt circle of elitism, or completely redundant. So the logical thing to do, to avoid conflicts and bawwing over an utterly pointless number, seems to be to get rid of it.

Besides, if you're an AU or Veteran, then you've obviously done something right.

And to explain my recent rep down of Noodle, I believed he was being an unproductive confrontational jerk, but I didn't particularly want to say that. Although I'm quite surprised I'm the only one to rep him down at all.

Apparently what got him up to three was making an account called 'not noodle', using a condescending Wonka meme at a perfect time, and stance works, although he is back down to two because NFX repped him down for being obsequious (at least that's what I think from what I have read, I may be entirely wrong). His rep usually remains untouched for trolling (although he did get two rep downs for the eyebrows thing), so he is probably just getting repped up for saying/doing amusing things.

I just repped him down because he's an unproductive jerk. =P But obsequious is a funny word.

I'm bored.

Let's talk about how much of a waste of our finite supply of matter SOTG is (a rather generous amount of matter, I might add).
How about **** you and leave her be, you're infinitely worse.

At least she doesn't go around picking fights, flamebaiting and generally being a complete ****ing scumbag like yourself.

Noodle, go back in your cage. Most of my chickens have more sophisticated thoughts than some of the pointless drivel you call posts.

Anyway, my laptop has been dead for the past two weeks, so what did I miss?

(Image removed from quote.)

Rescue is rather an objective viewpoint. For instance, I could throw someone into a burning building to rescue them from not being on fire.
