I think he did. Maybe he wants to line up the collision meshes.

Sorry for the big bump, but I just tried this and it worked.

I adjusted the height such that I was able to put a battlepack vertically. I was then able to put a half-sheet under. But when I slided the chassis down by even just one pixel, I can't attach the half-sheet (nor a vertical battlepack).

Not sure if this works for you guys, though.

Hmmm... I think 2 Drive E-teks is enough for that. Upgrade the weapon motor because I doubt that you can self-right with that. And tribars are weak, to it's better to use DSL bars with stronger weapons.

And ditch the extender from the drive to the baseplate. You can connect the drive directly anyway.

Not that bad, but not that good either.

You are using bear claws, which have normals (it means it only causes damage at the tips). Use 2 NPC motors instead (fast versions if possible) so you can have a smaller chassis (you can put them slightly outside the chassis). And since your weapon reach is quite long, you can use a smaller DSL bar, use an extender and point it down, and add the 30kg sledges (25 if you're short on weight). And don't underpower the bot more than 50% of its output.

[Edit] Crap. Edited out wrong advice. XD

Overkill? I'm gunna be up against superheavyweights with this bot. I need as much power as I can get. Anyway thanks for your comments so far.

Oh yeah. I forgot. XD

You should try testing on different burst motors, like a large JX vs 2 small JXs to compare the efficiency given that weight limit. I haven't had much time with DSL yet so I don't know how to compare and contrast effectively.

Hmmm... you could downgrade the side JXs for Mag snappers instead to upgrade the wheels, and use an extender connected to a multi-extender's side to attach the drive to upgrade the upper wedges.

And 3 burst motors are kinda overkill (in my opinion) for a sub-HW. If I can visualize correctly, it would be better if it looks similar to philetbabe's No Hype 5.

stable, but slow, slow , so sloooooooooow .... that it is sometime motionless!

Hehehe. That happens with tank treads. :P

What happens if you lower the plow to 'almost ground' level?

As for Don Quichotte, I think it's better if the chassis is tilted the other way so it faces the floor. I think that increases the wedginess.

You don't have to show us how you used the extenders unless the setup is totally complicated. And it's better to show us the insides so we can give some more extensive advice. :P

And Craaig's right. Sledges suck at stock. Also, when you build heavyweights, wedges give you a lot of advantages.

For a beginner, try to replicate some bots showcased in this forum. After some attempts you'll eventually develop your own style. :D

I think I'd ditch the side piglets on the chassis and upgrade the drive with the extra weight. :D

the reason why lil'dog is hard is because when i was my imported EMERGENCY he attacked me with his wedge so i couldend flip him

Lil' Dog doesn't have a wedge. :P

Besides, EMERGENCY SHOULD get under Lil' Dog at all times.

Hmmm... you can actually add more weapons to the burst motors if you use the side attachment points of the extenders. :D

Couldn't come up with a decent HW for the NAR AI pack, so I returned to stock.

Fixed my rammer now. :D

VERY underpowered, both steering drives and flipper segments suck. Get one more DDT and use 2 supervolts, then use 2 HP-Zteks for drive. And finally use the small wedge for the DDTs. :D

[Edit] Haha! Beat you guys to it. :P

Does the ice pick help much?
