 SnS reeeeeee... Slow spin up because of the flails, but the robot is normally able to survive an opponent's box rush.  My plan is for the best weapon to be an ugly skin.  3 blacks IIRC.

Mars Arena? Not serious enough. I'm sorry you feel that way. i like the idea of those arena tbh since most of them have uneven floors which would hurt wedges and maybe make people raise their ground clearances

This is precisely why I tried to fight tooth and nail in the DMs for an adjustment to the config system, to allow config changes pre-match, if the change was made well ahead of time and not just before recording. I misjudged how the robots would fall, realised my mistake well before the match was recorded (nearly a whole 12 hours ago) and despite the fact that this happens IRL, was not able to change beforehand. If I had the secret weapons, I definitely could have won that fight. A single, easily (both from my and point of view) fixable mistake has shut down Candalanders' Are Pig Dog's run. Things like this are why nobody play's Stock: random poop and minor lapses in judgement just fornicate up my potentially great robot's runs before they truly shine. Oh, and Mr Cheese is just plain terrible. Like, we're talking "BOTM arguments" bad. Such a stupid freaking mistake. I'm urinated both at myself and Enigma.

You wanted an utterly garbage BOTM theme...is that so one of you guys could actually win it finally with a joke entry like all the "memey" entries you've entered in the past? Right, because the chair didn't win?
They're really not a joke anymore...I mean c'mon, it's meant to be on the front page! It's what people see when they visit GTM.
And if one of you skilled people enter, they'll see a good splash with a anime character on it, that's not gonna drive away traffic. (Unless all the rest of you make sure a meme robot wins by intentionally voting for or not entering yourself.) Do remember this comment about "what people see when they first visit"
Hoppin's entry was great and creative. RedAce just won the last BOTM and that was good! Heck, Thracker won with Mean Bean Drilling Machine or something months ago and that was a MEME done right! Then they can build something good this time too, no?
So many people have voiced their discontent with this theme because it's just silly. Surely you can respect that and make it a theme that everyone can take part in and not just you lot who want to seemingly indulge in your fetishes or whatever.
This is actually true. But remember that comment about "what people see when they first visit"? Newbies won't understand this self indulgence. So the only real flaw won't be seen by them and they'll just see a splash  .
Picked the two deadest meta wonder why:really_makes_you_think: If you care about BOTM so much, you'll build in it. I'm speaking out against this one simply because this is something that could have been good going to sh** because of a stupid ruling that no one but the sh**posters want.
A rule that isn't harming anyone because you can still build any kind of design with this ruleset. This isn't Ubermod, 3wd pyramid, must have Axes.

5-6 people doesnt speak for the majority of GTM
We'll care about the low sampling size when that's less than the amount of people who build serious robots for serious BOTMs.
