Well that, and as soon as DSL3's replicas are released I'll resume making a new BB AI pack that isn't as failtastic and no indestructable Warhead or whatever.

Gave the texture a few ingame scratches, and deleted the components that got taken off. I then crashed them into the garage wall several times where they took the most damage to replicate the effects.

Carbon, Prostreet and Undercover were the worst 3 of the series for me. If it wasn't for Shift, NFS would probably be dead right now.

Custom Components Showcase / Re: Pay Tribute With Replicas

Could anyone try and make copies of the angled shell spinner skirt and solid shell disc components for me*? I need 1kg bright red skinned versions, but whenever I try and make a reskin of the component, both the original and copy will use the same skin, depending on the time I start RA2. If it ain't obvious what I'm trying to make a replica of, well here's one word: LADYBUG.
*PM me if you want to know which parts exactly and what size.

He was asking what extender would work the best  :dumb)
Well, in that case they were connected to DSL Bars.

IMHO, the best thing for getting under your opponent are small wedges connected to a burst motor (flipper in other words). Take a look at Virus Bomb's Taurus for example, that thing gets underneath DSC's Dreadhog from Realism AI 9 times out of 10, and that robot was LOW, with a capital L.

NFS 1,2,3,4,5 Most Wanted & Underground are the only playworthy NFS games

LOL get this bullsh** out of here
I did a double take when I saw that. Come on man, TNFS, NFS II SE, the original Hot Pursuit and of course High Stakes were perfect games in my book. Moddable to a ridiculous extent and has provided me hundreds of hours of entertainment. The later games were acceptable, but you gotta acknowledge the games that founded the series and rooted it in the mainstream.
(Yes, I know I just contradicted myself, but whatever)

Same here. The only way I can think Venko actually thought his post was beneficial was if due to his relative inexperience of English thought this thread was about the best games ever, and not our favourites. If he knows this is about our favourites, then this picture is an absolute necessity:
Remember, people have different opinions, no matter how stupid you think they are.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: New NASCAR topic
« on: May 18, 2013, 09:57:09 AM »
I wish PAL regions didn't get shat on with the lack of NASCAR games. We only got 2006: Total Team Control through 09, the last of which was ridiculously rare for PS2. Every game before that was NTSC only, even gems like Dirt to Daytona. We luckily got the PS1 games though (98 - 2001), but that's about it.

All I'm gonna say is for everyone to make sure they check dates on things before they post, and check if they really want to bring something up from so far back, and also that people shouldn't start some argument here, over just a bump.
Badnik, Jonzu, Alex etc, may I suggest writing an open letter to discuss how you feel rather than carrying on spamming this thread and making it a bigger thing than it needs to be.
We would complain, but who are the superiors more likely to side with? A wiki owner, his butt-buddy (me) and a guy with less reputation than compared to days he has spent on the website, or someone who's been in power and well known for several years? To anyone else on this forum, I'm just a good for nothing DSL Mafia crap builder who insults the veterans and most likely an alt of GF93 or Sparkey. My opinions would not hold against the might of Naryar, Kill and other well known members.

Also, Mazakari, if a post has been up on the forum for that long, chances are it was solved a long time ago. Even if you want to know the current progress on a mod, most of the time you would PM the guy responsible, not necrobump a bajillion times. It's been that way on all the other forums I've been on in the past 5 years.

Now, before I get muted, downrepped and probably have this post vandalized with massive red text and a spoiler, I'd like to conclude it's not a problem with the moderators that we have. These people have the power to do good things for this website, but they can be loose cannons some times, if you know what I mean. Kill may not have meant to post with those intentions, but it certainly does not improve their image.

So do I. Being a moderator does not give you the right to act like a massive tool.

I wanted to put the spike on a burst motor so it could lift other robots, but there wasn't enough room.
Pretty sure if you replaced the front NPCs with the other-direction facing ones and then moved the rest of the electronics elsewhere, you could fit a small JX or BSG/Magmotor in there.
