Let's pray that someone picks up Robot Arena that actually cares about it. My hope is that it gets a Wii U release at the very least with online and Miiverse support.
Robot Arena is probably dead...

...but, perhaps the new owner could release an open RA2 on Steam?

Thats pretty much my guess if they something with RA2 at the very max.

To be honest I sort of agree with Powerrave here, Nintendo does kind of need to stop with this New Super Mario Bros stuff and make more varied titles, seeing as about half of their stuff is practically the same game, both mechanically and thematically, only with some different levels (which are still tired) and some different bosses (which appeared in the old games so they aren't really "New" either). Time is better spent on properly getting their spin off franchises or, I dunno, METROID going, instead of producing quite so many identikit titles. Stuff like Super Mario 3D land is good, likewise with the Mario And Luigi thing they're working on atm, so more of that would be preferable to yet another 2D platformer that doesn't quite match the quality of their old ones.
This I can agree with. As much as I liked NSMB and that it was a good idea at first, the novelty's kind of worn thin now. It's had its time, so I think Metroid and The Legend of Zelda deserve a bit more of a focus, now.

I agree with you two. IMO Nintendo needs to give the Mario franchise a complete year off and focus on giving its other and old franchises such as Earthbound, Metroid, Kirby, Kid Icarus, F-Zero and few others more attention otherwise the entire Mario franchise will be milked dry soon.

Oh and since we are on the topic of Mario, I LOL'd at Mario & Luigi Dream Team UK release date. Anyone who can guess why gets a picture of a cookie.

Virtue's Last Reward, the sequel to 9 Persons 9 Hours 9 Doors

I also got that game and it is amazing. Story is and character development makes you feel so connected to them that it scares you when they all die in one ending.

Shame 999 didn't come to Europe though.

Anyways apart from VLR only other game I've bought is Luigis mansion 2 but I'm going to get Fire Emblem: Awakening, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and Project X Zone over the next few months.

It always has baffled me... is Great Britain an actual country? I thought it was a bunch a countries that are in the same region. It also upsets me that they compete in the olympics combined when smaller countries don't have that privilege.

Anywho I'm from Australia.

So I was correct? Either way they should be competing as single countries not as a group, or perhaps the USA could compete with all countries from the south american continent and compete under the name of America  :dumb) .
The UK is one country, just because it has constituent countries, doesn't deny its political status as a single entity. Funny how we compete as GB though, as Great Britain is just the main island lol.
The UK and US are similar in this way; on paper every state of the US could be it's own country (self governing and whatnot) but we're united by the federal branches of government. You guys (England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales) are all united by the royal family and parliament (I might be wrong there) excluding Northern Ireland (again I might be wrong there)

I will make a few points to this.

1. In that video it says that those who are born in Northern Ireland are deemed British. That is untrue as people born in NI are given the choice to have either a British passport or an Irish passport or both if they wanted to same situation when an Olympian born in Northern Ireland can choose to compete with GB or Ireland.

2. Ireland is not related to the Commonwealth after about 1948 under the Irish constitution in which it will be declared as a Republic under the Taosicech or Irish parliament.

I'm Northern Irish.

Where would that count as?

Britain.

You are wrong.

Great Britain consists of England, Scotland and Wales.

The United Kingdom consists of the aforementioned including Northern Ireland.

Geographically Northern Ireland counts as part of Ireland.

However due to the mixed areas in Northern Ireland some want it part of the United Kingdom while others want it part of a United Ireland while few (Including myself) want it Independent.

However since I have an Irish heritage I'll go in the other box.

Discussion / Re: How do people feel about using each others chassis?
« on: April 25, 2013, 10:00:39 AM »
Interesting question I would say.

I'd partly agree with Venko here that it takes alot of time to stack and make an airtight chassis but for people who actually has a busy life I can see why they would use someone elses chassis as it would take ages to perfect making it in how little time they have.

But making a good chassis is part of learning how to play RA2 no matter if you DSL or Stock.

I'd only use someone elses chassis if I'm rush making a bot at the last minute or using Ian's AW chassis.
