It is running beta 1.6.6, and an update to 1.7 will not be long coming. It's running such a past version, because otherwise it would've taken to next year if they were recoding updates to incorporate into the version they release. However, now that it's out, it shouldn't take long for it to update to a very recent version.

If it uses LIVE that it's already a recipe for crappiness, looking at all PC games that use that LIVE sh**, it's always something in the way.
It's not in the way. It just updates your profile at both ends when it can. You can also control your Xbox with your phone, which is pretty epic.

I thought Nokia were the second largest mobile phone company, behind Samsung.
They are great when it comes to the older mobile phones, just not doing so well with smartphones, also because they use Windows Mobile, which doesn't support toooo much apps I think and I heard that it's terrible. Am willing to believe that.
Actually, I have the Nokia Lumia 800, and I have no complaints. The OS is smooth and easy to navigate. The phone is slim and stylish in a way. It takes pictures reasonably well, and the music playback quality is good. The number of apps is limited, but the ones that are there are ones that you use, and the gaming apps are enhanced by the fact that it has Xbox LIVE connectivity, so that you can get those extra gamerscore. If you tried some things, maybe you wouldn't be QUITE so judgemental, Powerrave.
