09 deserves vet a lot more than people realize. everyone thinks that because he is/was friends with noodle that he's a sh**head or something, but he's honestly one of the more mature and helpful people here. He's been consistently active for quite a while, he's a hell of a builder and has helped cleaning up messes on the wiki caused by noodle himself. give him a little credit. Actually Mr. AS is pretty helpful too. You guys need to stop condemning people by association.
on the flip side jonzu will probably never be a veteran or AU unless his attitude and demeanor change.
So before you guys start making your own administrative decisions, how about you put some thought into what you're talking about. Or at the very least stop demoralizing the decisions made by those of us who actually ARE part of the staff.

Now a signups topic. I am going to be starting an IRL DSL2 tournament in the Containment Cube. There will be 6 heats (24 robots. In case of a lack of robots, you may send 1 extra robot. You MUST state which robot will be your main robot. Your extra robots will not affect your rank). Everything will be in RW Series 4 format.
Here are the rules/restrictions:
- I will be AIing, but I have the right to ask you do do it yourself
- State that nobody can be entered until a bot is received and accepted 
- The main weight class will be Heavyweight
- IRL is strongly enforced
- No unrealistic wedges
- The top 6 seeds will get to choose which heat to be in AFTER randomization
- The ONLY glitch allowed is the small chassis glitch.
- Arena hazards will be on
- Your bot can be modified or changed, as long I receive the upgraded bot before the deadline
- Nobody can be entered until a bot is received and accepted
- Bots must show controlled movement
- Walkers and Shufflers will gain a 400kg weight bonus, but at least 400kg must be used on the movement system.
- Matches are 4 minutes long, aside from the Grand Final which will be 2 minutes long
- No custom components
- 1st havok, restart; 2nd havok, your bot is eliminated
- No custom armour
- Bots can only be built in botlab
- No Trov Glitching, Hax Mode, BFE, etc
- If you want to make a multibot, you must send in another bot for the first round melee
- No Heavy Plows, (Steel V's are okay) or Titanium Sheets (half-sheets are okay).
- The only cheatbot2 components allowed are: Buster Wheel
- Growler Wheel
- M.O.E. Wheel
- All Judge extras, except for the gavel.
- HMN Tooth
- Matilda Flywheel
- Beta Wheel (under extras)
- Beta handles
- You have an unlimited amount of upgrades. This means you can send a new robot too.
- Badnik must enter BuffalOWNED (please?)
Awards to be given out at the end:
Gold, Silver, and Bronze titles (1st, 2nd, 3rd if you haven't already guessed)
Coolest Robot Award
Most Entertaining Robot
Best Engineering/Most Unique Award
Host Destroyer (Whoever destroys my bot)
Most Destructive
The Lolwut Award (Weirdest loss or win)
Honourable Mention (A bot that did really well, and probably should have made it farther)
Judges will mark in 5 categories:

Side Competitions (Send me a message telling me which side-competitions you would like to enter. Side competitions will not affect your rank. You may enter in as many side competitions as you want):
*Junker | A 1v1 with WreckTangle 3. For each component you knock off WreckTangle, you earn a point. Eliminating WreckTangle gives you an extra 5 point.
*Sumo | A 1 minute 1v1 on FlexTop with hazards and weapons off. You may enter an additional bot if you would like.
*The All-Stars | (after tournament) the Top 6 ranked robots will face off in a Dutch Robot Wars Series 2 format.
*Grudge Matches | (self explanatory)
*Challenge Belt | I will give the Challenge Belt to one of the moderate-high ranking robots, then others will compete to get it. Same rules as Robot Wars.
*Mantisweight | 300kg weight limit. All matches in rumble format
*KOTH | On the Lumizone Arena
*Annihilator | Four random robots will start in the arena. When a robot is eliminated, the fight is stopped and another random robot is put in to replace it.

Proposed Format:
There will be four initial brackets, each consisting of four robots. Robots will have to fight for the hilltop in the middle of the arena in order to earn points. Once the three minute match-time is done or two of the robots have been eliminated, the two remaining entries or the two entries with the highest amount of points will move on to the next bracket, ect. The tournament is single-elimination only, and no Loser's Bracket will be present, however if there is a tie between two robots at the end of the match, a "decider" deathmatch-battle will be done between the two tied robots to see who goes through. The format will continue until only two robots are left. The two remaining robots will be pit in a final battle which uses a non-KOTH format, and the winner of the finals will be the winner of the tournament.
Rules:
General Rules: - Stock LW only, custom components will be omitted.
- 16 Entries, bye-bots will be constructed to fill empty-entries if necessary.
- I will be handling the AI, however it would be a help if you could name your controls accordingly. (Forward, LeftRight, Spin, ect.)
- No cheatbot2 parts, AI Parts will however be allowed, including the Snapper II.
- BFE, Thyrus Glitch and other external edits are banned. Skinning is not included.
- I will be allowing the Trovaner Chassis Glitch, not that anyone needs it.
- Hax Mode and Uber Stacking is banned, however the eFFe Glitch, Snapper Loading and other similar glitches are permitted.
- No 140cm Extenders, period.
- The bot must have at least a two-wheel drive. 1WD Sit'n'Spins, Bumble-Balls, Cluster-Bots and all types of Crawlers will be disqualified.
- Cheap-Norris bots will be disqualified.
- Multibots are not allowed, however robots with interchangeable weaponry (multiple entries with one identical chassis, drive and such, but each with different weapons) are allowed to a limit of six weapon varieties.
- Unlimited Upgrades/Exchanges are allowed during the sign-ups period. Only robots which have interchangeable weaponry available will be able to be swapped-out during the tournament.
Havok Rules: - There will be no Havok-restarts during the main tournament, however there will be one Havok-restart available for the final-battle or decider/tiebreaker-matches.
The Arena:
 Hazards off, will be used for the Final-Battle and Regular Rounds.

I will be doing the AI (and bindings), unless you're willing to AI (and bind) yours.
Custom .pys are allowed, but you must send the bindings.
You cannot enter, until I have received, and accepted your robot.
I will be more stricter when it comes to entries.
Multi-extenders, have been re skinned to black.
Titanium extenders, as well.
There will be better pre-match information compared to the HoriZon, while commentary may still not be done.
The Arena:
Rules:
The game will be a fresh DSL (2.1). No custom parts, neither edited components. It will be Realistic: IRL based.
There will be 24 entries.
One robot, per person.
Empty spaces (if any) will be filled up with bye bots made by moi - obviously.
This will be a Middleweight tournament.
The only Cheatbot2 part allowed, is the Judge motor.
The ONLY glitch allowed, is the small chassis.
Must have at least 2 wheel drive, and all wheel drives must have/show controlled movement.
Meaning no clusters, crawlers, scuttles, etc.
A robot CAN be upgraded, until the end of the deadline for entries.
Unlimited amount of upgrades.
Sending a new robot is allowed, since it'd be classified as an upgrade.
Matches:
It will be a Single Elimination tournament.
There will be a Rumble at the end of the competition.
Round 1 - Eight 3-way matches. 1 robot winning from each match.
Round 2 - Four singles matches. 1 robot winning from each match.
Round 3 - Two singles matches. Each winner goes to the final.
Round 4 (1) - The two losers of Round 3 will fight in the playoff for 3rd placing.
Round 4 (2) - The two winners of Round 3, will fight to become the champion.
Special Round - All robots (with or without more) fight each other, in a big rumble finale.
3 minute match, per match. Judges' decision will be based on points scored.
Due to a number of controversy decisions during the HoriZon, the Status Messages will be turned on.
The arena will be the DSL 3 "Official Robot Arena 2 Tournament" arena, with edited textures; hazards.

A robot will never be disqualified for havoking. If a havok happens, the match will restart, until there is a clear winner.
The rumble, will however allow havoks.

Ey, I decided to host a tournament!
Before we get onto the rules, I must state the general summary of this tournament. Your goal is to design the most destructive bot that you can.
Your victim: Tim.
  That's 10 steel underneath that three layers of DSL Bars BTW. Changes may or may not be made.
Rules:
-DSL 2.1
-Standard building rules
-Combat Arena, hazards off.
-Weightclass is SHW/SuperHeavyweight.
-Only cheat parts allowed are:

-Havoks are fine, unless the bot get's stuck in the ground or something, then that is an instant restart. If it happens a second time, it's another restart, until the match goes perfectly.
-No walkers and/or shufflers (Unless someone can provide me with the Bindings). No cheap Norris's either, glass cannons are okay.
-Popups are banned.
-Multibots are allowed, but their combined weight (Yes, their COMBINED weight) must be under the weight limit.
-If your bot requires smart zones I highly suggest you add them on yourself before sending them in to avoid: "YOU PUT THE SMART ZONE WRONGLY !!!!!11111!!!!"
Scoring:
-Each bot is given a 10 minute round with Tim.
-The bot who can destroy/immobilize Tim in the shortest amount of time wins.
-Immobilization results in no change of time.
-Knockouts will shave 10 seconds off your time.
-Your bot getting Immobilized results in a restart. If after 3 restarts and your bot still loses to Tim, you are listed as DNF.
-If your bot, somehow, someway, is KO'd by Tim, it is an instant DNF. No restarts.
-Should you enter a multibot, if one of the two bots is knocked out, the other can still continue.
-If your bot still isn't done destroying Tim even after 10 minutes, you are DNF'd.
SUBMITTING ENTRIES
-There is no need to AI your bots. However, if your bot uses smart zones and you don't add them on before sending them in, don't you dare complain about your bot being "AI'd wrongly"
-If you have custom bindings, please send them to me.
-Just because all 16 entries are filled doesn't mean you can't send in your bots. You can send them in for the next tournament which I am planning. But they won't be in THIS tournament.
-You are not signed up until your bot passes inspection. If you send in a bot and it is rejected, you must fix the errors. However, someone can take that spot while you are fixing said issues.
