DP

I took JD's advice and the bot preforms twice as well. Thanks a lot.

I found it was more effective for damage, but also protected the extenders a bit more because the exposed flat surface is less prone to being hit.

Excellent! I was just thinking about how annoying it was when the extenders came off.

Hello everybody! I built an MW counterpart to my HW drum Warpig:

Warfrog is an MW drum with 16 light DSL teeth and two Perm 80s. He is not quite as good as his HW counterpart, but still preforms well against many NAR AI MWs.

Any comments would be appreciated. :D

The whole you driving it part turns me off kind of.

I don't listen to losers who think I suck I just lower their rep.

Well there is little doubt that you aren't a good bot builder. I wouldn't call people losers just because they tell you that. I say just try to implement some of their advice and your building will improve dramatically.

I have already explained the reason I don't build very effective machines anyway, I just build bots for fun and realism and for youtube tournaments I am soon going to start.

Then, out of curiosity, why do you showcase the bots?

Smoking is horrible for your body, no doubt about it. Moderate drinking has its benefits, but whether they are outweighed by the eventual health issue is uncertain.

OHKO's Infection4 sometimes.

Infection 4 has a vulnerable front in that you can pretty easily hit his chassis as you ride up his wedge. What about the popups you can't OHKO?

I can't imagine that FSS is that good against popups or rammers because the shell looks like it will spin up too slowly.

Likewise, weapon-spammed rammers are not...

RULES
4. VSs are only acceptable with a Chewblade, Sawblade, or a DSL Disc, Sheck-Disc-Thing, or Drum WITHOUT weapons sticking out.

Wait, so if you use a DSL disk you can't put on any weapons?

You could do TRAP (These Rules Are Permanent).

Okay, so I took both Pwnator's and 123STW's advice (sort of) and got this:

Rolls backwards much less now. Thanks!

I'm not a fan of that VS. No wedginess and weak weaponry just doesn't seem like a good thing.

How about a poly extender coming down from each angled sheet and attach your drive there (but with ant wheels) so it won't tip backward?

Seems like it should work, thanks. I'll try it out later.

If he has something to add then there is nothing wrong with bumping.

Hello Everybody! Time to revive this showcase with a BW VS:

Vespirada (name came from a Dr. Who episode IIRC) is a BW VS with 6 razors powered by a piglet and two astroflights for drive. Thanks to the 120 Angled sheets the bot is quite stable, though it can tip backward on occasion. It can take out most NAR AI BWs, but has trouble with robots so wide they hit the support (Oberon) or HS with lots of weaponry.

Any comments would be appreciated. :D

This bot is likely going to be easy pickings for a popup, because the piglet will not spin the shell fast enough to spin you off. Similarly, gut rippers and flipper could cause some issue. I would highly advice you find a way to get a stronger motor in there.

That has to be a piglet... Does the bot havok? Anything with a chassis that small havoks with me (unless there is some bottom support).
