Amp-flow motors provide some of the best power to weight ratios period, the A28-150 motor has a peak of three full horsepower, in less that four pounds.

Speaking of Robot Marketplace, anyone know what those HW Battlekits they sell are like? If they're good enough, I may consider building something out of one.
They come from the guy that built Biohazard, if you don't mind lots of screws, they will work.

A good place for robot combat parts is Robot Marketplace.

A good ESC is the SaberTooth 5. It handles more current than the Tiny Escs, has in built mixing, and costs a little bit less than them, but both have a proven track record so take your pick.

Gold sparks are awesome, but silver sparks are even better. If you're short on weight, the KG17 will work.

Lite Flites are awesome, use finger tech hubs to mount them.

A good cheap radio is the Hobby King HK-6. If your willing to pay a bit more for the programming cable, you'll have a decent radio with the ability to mix. If you want the best radio for the price, the Airtronics SD-5G is a good option, costs about as much as the Spektrum Dx5e, but is vastly superior.

Rhino Li-polys are the cheapest I found, but Turnigy also makes good Li-pos for a good price. A123 batteries, however, are the best by far, if you can find a supplier, get them!

If you want a good servo for the price, the HXT 6.9 Kg offers a good price, and has decent speed and torque.

I'm a Pyro most of the time, I also play as Spy when my services are needed. Scout, Soly, and Demo are my next played classes, sometimes Medic and Sniper, and almost never Engie.

That's a promotion from Hobby King, you get them randomly, and you take pictures of what you used Turnigy products for to get store credit if you win.

Simply go to another tab to stop the spinning, such as the wiring tab or paint tab.

Nice!
I read, though, on the Battle Bots forum that it weighs 29 lbs at the moment. How are you going to get the rest of the parts in?

Also I renamed the team, because none of the pots are gonna have a reptile theme anymore and thought it would just be stupid.
Interesting, how about the theme of the bots?
