Got another Idea what if there was a reskined soccer arena for the World Cup.
someone actually made a soccer arena a long time ago, it had a little ball that would drop and you got points for each time you scored a goal. good luck finding it though! it was hosted on the old ra-reborn file archive

I don't recall his "swearing" ever being an issue.

AU would have been much more tolerable if DaStompa wasn't there. DaStompa was a hardcore despot. I recall there being allegations that he was reading people's PMs. Most of the other moderators were pretty cool (like AW).
i dont even remember that... seriously? i was fairly sure you couldn't even do that on ipb boards.

When I say that I dislike a genre, it's really a generic blanket statement. I dislike onions, but if done right, they can be enjoyable. Does that analogy make any sense?

I never claimed rapping is easy. Hell, I envy anyone who is capable of coming up with lyrics. Seriously, I've been wanting to write some tunes for quite some time, but I simply lack the lyrical skills at the moment (and I refuse to collaborate).
yeah, i see what you're saying. the point i was making, and this is going back to the original argument, is that i found it ironic that some people can play a weird al parody song to death and love it, but when confronted with the original it's "that guy has no talent!!!" and "this sucks ass!" when there's just as much artistic merit in that, if not more, than the funny parody song. after the 50th time, i'm sure you're past the jokes, and enjoying the song itself, correct? and where did the song originate from...? that's all i'm sayin

i wasn't known for any bot. swampengeist didn't even get compliments from people who it hadn't beaten. hthae was the closest i came to a 'claim to fame' bot, and it lost to be0t in the middleweight semifinals of second big ass AU tournament because of lag (yeah that's right, i said it! come back from the dead and defend yourself you 128k brit wanker! :realmad(   haha)

i think it's really weird some of yall know these things but it tickles my sense of nostalgia so i'm totally down with it

FACT: I am Be0t ToAst was mostly known in the old days for his powerful HS Swapengiest.

Swampengeist wasn't an HS, it was a hammer.

And Childs Play IV is technically a Spinner from the west. Why? Because:
1. It is a spinner
2. ACAMS built it
3. ACAMS lives in Texas, which is in the west.
UHH HOLY DICK WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT

i miss that badboy! thanks for the picture! what's the one on the left though, it gives me an x

Ahhhh that sucks. I had some stuff stolen from my parents store once, hundreds of dollars of hardware.

Well, glad to see you're still around, and I would'nt really say robot combat is dead, at all..........

It's dead where I am, and I personally believe as a whole the sport took a turn south when things like VDD kits were mass produced and chassis became machined out of 1 solid piece of metal (effectively making "parts go flying" a misnomer). Antweights are boring these days and unfortunately are the mainstream because they are affordable, people only build the same 3 or 4 designs with minimal changes, it seems. The "sport" these days is mostly only kept alive by people who fawn over reruns and old memories, because there hasn't been much in the way of new stuff. I feel bad for the BattleBots company, really, because their CBS special was canceled because they couldn't sell the advertising space for the commercials. 8 years ago people would be at each other's throats to have commercial space during BattleBots, and now they can't even sell it. It's sad, really. :(

I'm just glad I had fun when I did, and even though I was never really able to finish that Heavyweight of mine years and years ago at least I got to experience something. :P
WHAT?! ack!! i was excited about that! :(

so what is this project? is eventually supposed to compete in remote controlled car competition or something? metal virus or someone used to be really into that stuff. or is it just a fun bangaround project?

i need to start building crap again, but im perpetually broke

also, sup fag

hes got the most annoying voice in music, possibly. whatever though, if that's what it takes for you to enjoy a genre you hate, i aint gonna change your mind

chamillionaire isn't great either, honestly. i never liked him

rapping isn't as easy as it looks, try it sometime

Chatterbox / Re: The F*ck has this world come to?

i think the funniest part of this thread is that sparky is like 13 or something and all of these tiny tots shaking their ass are still practically fair game for him

also, weird al kinda sucks and i think it's really funny when he re-purposes a hip-hop beat and white kids who "grrrr h8 rap !!! it sux" eat it up and find themselves genuinely enjoying it because it doesn't scare them as much

kids are stupid
Weird Al has proven he can sing. Most rappers haven't. That's why it's also acceptable when Geddy Lee does that rap thing in the song "Roll the Bones".
so let me get this straight

chamillionaire drops "ridin' dirty", it 'totally sucks, dude'
weird al drops "white and nerdy", it's way better because later on in the cd he sings?
