I almost won our Cross Country Trek today... but I missed a cone I was supposed to go around and got 2nd. 
You're still fast as hell lol.
Just because you are fast has little to do with it, it mostly has to do with endurance. In a mile run, I was second out of like 60 people 2/4 laps into a mile run at my school even though i was one of the slowest runners. I finished like 5th because my legs gave out on me.

If your using the trinity glitch, not need fr anything more than 2WD Right angle, the bot will just fly about, as you said.
I do not know great amounts about stock, but try multiple Razors on the non-spinning pistons.
It's a SnS too, so it needs to be fast.
