I too, got back from an art show (silent auction), where I was selling this. (Image removed from quote.) One of the people running the event ended up buying it, and shortly after we discovered that somebody broke off one of the records. So now I get to fix it :V
how much did you GET for it
Well it sold for 10 dollars but its a silent action so I didn't get anything :[] I just did it to do it really.

Why
Because people are stupid.
Is it OK if I'm humiliated by this right now?
I'm humiliated, too. This guy is part of the human race.
Well yeah, but I'm a Christian... ...and now I get sh** for this, too...
From who(m)?
The internet, man.
Maybe it has something to do with you trying to justify homophobia? plelelelelelleleee

Seriously though that's what ticks me off about Americans, they truly think their country = the world.
Uh yeah don't generalize an entire country of people. I think that it should focus on having a team from each of the "Major" cities from around the world. Like, NYC, Toronto, London, Dubai, Oslo, Canberra etc. But then it might end up too biased trying to decide what counts as "major" or not. Why not just have the people building the teams represent the city they are from? This community has a large amount of diversity, I am not sure how many of us live in the same cities but if that were a problem then one of the doubles could just pick another big city to represent.

It would be about some toy designer guy from california starting up a competition for a bunch of engineers and sci fi enthusiasts to build radio control combat vehicles, armed with spinning things and pokey things, which they will then battle in a california convention center with absolutely no protection what soever. Oh yeah, and Mark Pauline will be there and he will make some people go def as usual. Then some British people do a thing and now its all over the world etc etc. Oh yeah and some kid gets kicked off a robotics team for having too much fun and some other kid tries to claim that boxes are robots.
ROLL CREDITS

Yeah I don't understand the point of this, it seems you based it entirely around your personal opinion and it doesn't seem like the thread was really needed.

I love it, I wish I had the time and the patience to create things as big as that.

Crap. We should do an international one next.
I'm certainly willing to do a Top 25 International Robot Wars, with Dutch, American and German Robot Wars.
If you do an international one, will it include the bots from the first four US events? If you need help with info on any of those I cant definitely help. This is only for their Robot Wars appearances, not for how well they are doing today.
You missed the point.

Also, only 1 bot per team. Sadly, that means no Mace or Bodyhammer. I can think of a good few robots that are going to be screwed over by this rule. Killerhurtz, Recyclopse, Roadblock, Chaos, Robot The Bruce, Groundhog, Big Brother etc and most of those should be in the 100 imo
I say let them in
Roadblock? Why would Beast of Bodmin be in the list? It was awful and was not the first UK Robot Wars champion.
Granted Robot the Bruce was in a final, Chaos 2 won a final - twice.
Firestorm reached three Grand Finals; Groundhog did not.
Recyclopse I somewhat agree with, but no, Cassius was the first UK robot to self-right.
Recyclopse was the first robot to flip another robot using a flipper in the UK...
Wait, it actually managed to flip something? I thought it just sort of pushed stuff around. Panzer MK4 - Winner of both US Robot Wars Drillzilla - One of the best walkers that's ever competed.
But I thought Shufflers weren't considered Walkers? Hehehe : (

I changed the title
I don't see why you couldn't just include the influential US competitors...

Well if it is just supposed to be robots that made an impact then you have to throw in La Machine, X1, and The Master. First Wedge, first lifter, and first axle/thwack bot.

I can assume that this includes US RW? After all the British series was technically just a continuation of it.

We could have an hour long segment of Goldenfax complaining about how everyone is out to get him, and how furries are the bane of his existence, followed by rustled jimmies and more complaining.
Stereotyping...it gets old very quickly. Give it a rest.
That isn't even....****, I won't even bother.
