090901 will get 16 friends to stand in a circle with the names of the entrants written on their shirts. He will then blindfold himself and spin around and around in the center of the circle, before shooting one of them with a semi-automatic pistol. He will then put the name on the deceased friend's shirt in the first spot of the bracket, and continue with this method, working his way down.

@RPJK (if you still read this after so long): Sadly it's impossible to create "useful" source code out of a binary. It is possible to create a "source code file" from a binary that will compile, but that's not useful. All the variables will names like "awf2f" instead of "number_of_bullets_left". Despite common belief source code is for humans, not for computers.
Oh dear, oh dear. How can people always lose source code in some way? Even the bigger projects only are 1MB of source code in total.
If I ever get my hands on a lot of free time I am willing to make "RA3". Before you start yelling "NOT GOING TO HAPPEN" and "YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT", yes I do. I can't handle it alone, but if we can get a team together (maybe with http://gamedev.net/) we can do it.
Just my 2 (euro)cents.
I think you're one of the only people who won't be bashed for an RA3 idea

This is how to find the Bindings: Infogrames-Robot Arena 2-AI-Bindings.py. Make sure to right click it then it will say file opens with. Click Notepad.
Or wherever you have RA2 saved - AI - Bindings.py (Not everyone uses the disc version)

SnapperII's are lighter, and have the second AP, but servos are MUCH more stable. You get no torque vibrations with servos at all.
Good point, I never really thought of that

Servos are good but aren't Snapper II's better for overlapping and such?

Gojira - To Sirius
How you can like metalcore when you listen to this awesome music confuses me. Whatever, Gojira rules and I'm glad they're at Sonisphere.
I stretch myself across all types of metal :D Morbid Angel - Immortal Rites

I guess the wildcard is probably full too...
The current rate of tournament entries suggest that people are going to have to prebuild bots months in advance or just send in bots they already have...
...oh. Well, that blows.
There does seem to be a huge influx of newcomers wanting to see how their machines do in combat. Maybe if we had a newcomers-only tournament, that MIGHT help ease the burden. Or if the maximum entries could be raised to 24, that would also help. This isn't really the place to discuss it, though.
Garvin vs Geice (Or however his name is spelled) now that would be a funny match (Then again, it would be if he were up against me as well :L)

Classic Death Metal>Metalcore, Screamo, Modern Metal, Nu-metal Thrash>Classic death metal
Logistics is a wonderful thing.
It is for those who can understand it, unlike some *Glares at Garvin* because he has nothing to do with this thread XD

Since when did i say i was CERTAIN to be in?I just stuck in a couple o random bots, with a weight i have no clue about?I very well could not enter!
Technically mate, if you build to the weight limit, it's pretty much a typical MW Tournament. And Skit? It certainly sounds like we've got it worked out. We've got the snowman ready, now we just need to kick him over
Well as we're on about Avalanche I feel the need to be called Ski EDIT: XD
