The disk's attachment point is the problem... It seems that it attaches a bit lower than its supposed to, Look:

One way to solve this is to attach something to the motor & attach the blade over it, but i got no extra weight for that :\

Edit to bot: I put a Perm 132M now.. Soo the disk is even further foward, giving it more range ;D

It would be realistic if the disk attached to the end of the motor (If would also be more effective), But it just doesnt...
It can only attach there :S

I tried attaching one beneath too... It goes in the same place, Just like it was only 1 disk...

« on: December 07, 2009, 07:40:51 PM »
This is probaly the Noob3st question ever... But i always wondered... What does the Max Sphere do?
The only thing i noticed is that you can attach something in the middle of it, And i dont think thats what its used for cause ive been bots with a Max Sphere & nothing attached to it or something :S

Telly pl0x :3

(I dont really know if this should be here or if i should make a topic for it, Sorrreh ^^")

Just think of the extender as a simple circle. Every time you rotate it 1 bit, it goes 10 degrees so in dsl all you need to do is make it turn 9 times. Sorta hard to explain in text.

Theyre sixtagons (Or whatever) soo... You could see one of the "Points" & Rotate the extender while keeping on eye on it...
Its hard with the Polycarbonate ones (the ones i use the most) though, Coz their color is not solid >_<

A not so glorius comeback... Here's a MW I made in less than 5mins: FlatLine

Outside

Inside

Stats:

Drive: NPC (Normals)
Weapon: BackSlash Blade (5400 HP, 400 DP)
Armour: Titanium x5

I made it in around 10mins... Soo i guess its suckish... Also, I dindt pay attention to Chassis Space & Stuff :P
The Paintjob took more time than the bot itself :S

Also one little problem... The cause of why i stopped playing RA2, The wedges are AGODing, Like ALL my other wedges >_>

Nahh, Its not uncontrolable fast or something...
I just feel that i can make it a lil slower & use the weight gained from the Motors to add more razors/batteries...

E-teks suck at driving, unless you use the drive version(Not that I recommended it, there too bulky).
Magmotors are bad as drive in anything over middle weights, and most middle weights use NPC drive anyway.
Ice Picks are bad as spinner weapons because of normals.

There should be something Between NPC & E-Teks :\
Or they should make E-Teks smaller

But you used a metal hinge wedge on the bot you just posted.... :?

I know... But what i meant is Metal Hinge+Skirt Hinge
Imma just use Extender+Metal Hinge now... Alot easier and without glitches ;D

Instead of using so many ants you could just use Battlepacks... Less weight :\

I wont be using skirt Hinges & Metal Hinges for Wedges anymore....

Outside

Inside ---> 8 battlePacks & 7 Ants

Its WAAAY less complicated than using Skirt Hinges & When something heavy goes on it... It doesnt lower like with Skirt Hinges, Also... NO AGODING!!! ;D

Armour: Titanium x5

Metal Hinge's attachment point will AGOD if you do not switch to another building menu quickly enough. Just go to a different bot building menu and then switch back to attaching components and your wedge should work just fine.

9th ReMake... 9th Failure :\

I think im going back to building Spinners... or something that doesnt need wedges :(
