Thanks ACAMS. I thought I tried everything from the admin panel but if it works it works. I'll also hold off on the update since things are working now.

The only thing that I have done in the mysql (besides upgrade myself on the wiki) is make backups of everything. As far as files go, I removed everything that I added (none of it related to the SMF software). In an attempt to fix things, I also tried reverting all the admin settings that I played with (only like 1 thing).

Since so many people are running into this problem, I'm going to try updating the forum software. I didn't want to do this so soon but people at the SMF forum said that it would likely fix this issue.

This happened to me while using my phone...

I'll continue to   search for the problem. I haven't changed or modified any of the forums   code but I'll double check that none of the things that I did do are   causing this.

Edit: I undid everything that I did, cleaned the   database, and logged everyone out. Let me know if anyone experiences   this issue again or for the first time.
Edit2: Unfortunately, the problem doesn't appear to have gone away. Please be patient as I keep looking for a solution.

1. I'll try to remember to do it over the weekend.
2. I've been busy tweaking GTM and working on mods for the anniversary.

I've been trying to post a song I've been working on, but for some reason when the upload finishes I suddenly go to the start new topic screen. Is there a reason for this?
Which uploader are you using?

Im also having the same issues massimov had where the server times out whenever I post.
I don't know what I can do about this but I'll try to figure it out.

When do you get the error?

6 more days until the anniversary. Even though I can't participate in this contest, I have quite a bit planned for the occasion.

I am interested.
Unless more people want to follow my progress, I won't be starting a progress thread for it. I will, however, continue working on it.

Cool bot. Does it have problems with tipping backwards? If you get it to almost scrape the floor then it would be leaning more forward and it will have a better chance of lifting bots off the ground.

Alright, I think everything is working now. Unfortunately, doesn't appear to have fixed the thumbnail error (I'll continue to look into this). If anyone notices any new issues please let me know ASAP.

@ACAMS: I hope you don't mind but I gave myself all the necessary privileges from within the MySQL database.

As RedlineM203 mentioned, there is an AI in DSL for use with motors that have limited movement but I don't recall there ever being an AI for normal motors. If I remember, I'll make one when I get the chance.

My copy of RA2 came in a jewel case. The box cover looks much cooler, IMO.

This isn't something that someone else can answer for you. Everyone follows their own path at some point in time and it is on this path that you find the answer(s) to your question. Almost everyone wants to make their life mean something. However, you need to ask yourself what do you want to be known for? You don't have to be good at something to make a difference.

Do you want to be the person that is recognized by name or a nameless somebody? Everywhere you go, you see plagues in honor of someone but it is rare to recognize a name that is older than X number of years. My point is that it is unrealistic to strive to be a recognized name. People that we recognize do not try to be recognized. For example, Albert Einstein had no intention of being a name that people recognize but he managed to make his life mean something to people. Actions speak louder than words.

I've updated all the links so if anyone else is looking for a standalone copy, you can get it from the Downloads section of GTM.

I don't have any other AWs besides NefariusBeing. However, let me know if I can be of any other assistance to you.

Feeling nervous is pretty normal. How you deal with your anxiety can vary greatly. Confidence can be drawn from a sense of knowing the material through studying/practice. As Naryar said, the ending is irrelevant as long as you made the attempt. You should enter the room thinking that you will do your best and leave knowing that you have done just that.

The original Bot Exchange that Goose made used the preview image whenever you hovered over a link. Unfortunately, we no longer have access to that version of the exchange.

Dummy's bot editor can not be used to improve the bot exchange in any way shape or form. The executable won't work on a server and we don't have the source code. The fact of the matter is that we wouldn't want to use if even if we could. It is not designed to be run from a server and would undoubtedly cause problems.

Serge and Goose have been working independently on new bot exchanges but neither of them have finished and they both appear to have moved on to other projects. The only reason why they weren't working together was because they were using two different languages (PHP for Goose and Python for Serge).

That said, I've been working on a new Bot Exchange ever since I became the Webmaster of GTM. I don't plan to embellish it with features quite yet but I can start a thread for it if people are interested in following my progress...

Dummy's bot editor (found here) allows you to extract the skin and preview image from a bot and replace them with whatever you want. IIRC, it allows you to use a skin with a slightly higher resolution.

General Support / Re: Python22 not on computer?

You need to extract all the files from the RAR file. One of the files is called python22.dll and the error says that you are missing it.
